Generally TT takes priority.

It'd be awesome if you took everything from all places
We do TT and AniDex. See here for my comment on Anirena.
Does anyone think AcgnX is worthwhile?

admin, I had so much fun watching anime today!  (Re-watching DanMachi S1, just to mention it).

I laughed, I cried.  I felt like my soul went through a washing machine and came out better.

Thanks!

so far I don't add tags to my folder names to keep them short, I add many keywords to my custom titles
When creating the torrent, you can just choose not to include the folder at all (just select all files) and set the display name in the torrent.

So I'd be stealing the glory and sabotaging the spread of his work? Is that true?
I don't quite understand the question, but sharing peers is somewhat ideal as it means that user have a larger base of seeds to fetch data from.
In reality, unless both of you create the torrent with the exact same settings, it's probably not likely that the info hash will be identical, so not seen as a duplicate (even if there's duplicate data in the torrent itself).

As somewhat pointed out by others, no torrent uploading is done here, so entries aren't associated with AnimeTosho accounts.
Associations are only made with accounts on source sites (TT/AniDex).

So surprisingly, none of mirrors out there have imported any of the data. Is anyone able to ask them to do such a thing?
I'll look at adding a search or implementing your suggestion, but I don't have lots of time to do so, unfortunately, so apologies if it takes time.

As is scraping data for the purpose of preserving history and knowledge, wouldn't you think? Similar to what the Internet Archive attempts to do.

I can't see any ill intent here, neither can I see how anyone is hurt (figuratively) by it being done. I'm presuming that the scrape isn't being used for profiteering purposes, neither is it attempting to remove attribution.

Reading the information on the site itself and scraping the data with script for the purpose of posting on a new site are two different things.

It was contributed in good faith for the said website.
Incorrect, it was contributed for the sake of informing others.
The website is merely a platform which enables the general public to "leech" information - if it wasn't, the general public wouldn't be able to access said website.

> 10-bit anime rips dont exist

Can depend on the definition of "rip". I don't think any anime source exists which has >8-bit colour depth, and I suspect that it may not even be mastered higher than 8-bit.
All 10/12-bit encodes you find are likely upsampled from an 8-bit source.

Still, I'm not sure it's something I'd stop talking to someone over.

No, we've had bots accessing this site for a long time actually.
I don't mind them (after all, AT uses bots exclusively), though I do rate limit them as I don't have a lot of resources.

HS hasn't done an official batch for 8 months, maybe a year?  And before that, mostly never.

Horrible only does a v2, whether labelled as one or not, when there is an error or they change source.  Both are immediate changes, not some end of season thing.

Just find the uploads on Binsearch and "select all".

Literally the only point of unofficial HS batches is that they often have unlabelled v2s that AT and other bots usually don't post because they think they already have.

If it's better for you, another option would be having more entries /page; if there were, like 200 or more, I could just download them all till the date I want, and filter manually; doing that right now would take ages...

most HEVC release out there are pseudo-encodes in 8bit, so it's shit.

Likely nobody is that insane to use such a low CRF to get 10 Mbit @1080p HEVC (talking about anime, not live action, which needs higher bitrate!). 10 Mbit anime would be in a range of CRF 12 to 13.5, I guess.
A typical setup for high quality 1080p anime is CRF 16 or maybe 15 these days . Getting into video encoding just a little bit would really help...
Doki staff encodes HEVC 10-bit from raw BD source (with CRF 15/16). So just search Doki 1920 HEVC BD here at AT.

It says that the file is broken and it can't display the files!? But it works. Did TT corrupts it, or something? Did I screw something up?

Edit: I used nyaa's dead http but I also add 2 open trackers... it can't work without a private tracker?

Edit: we don't seem to have PM options... or alerts of a reply? Well, I saved the page. Goodnight~

Edit: Oh, it can't see the torrent files because nyaa's tracker died and it needs a magnet link to find the torrent. It still works.

Holy shit, you have my Tanya the evil, but without edited title tags... T_T I really have to add that stuff to my long folder names.
If I post it to two sites that you take torrents from, which one is taken in priority? Because if you take TT without custom titles... I think I'd just skip that limited site entirely.

I sure hope that they allow batches, because making me download 100 episodes one by one isn't cool, and I'm unlikely to re-seed that on request.
Edited: Anidex allows batches, they have a selection just for that XD It adds a blue square with a B on it next to the name. Neat~

For uploads, I like acgnx best so far, because it,s the first I found with the old list mixed in a fully functional site that allowed me to have my entire list back, and post more. Do you extract that one? Maybe it'd be nice.

A site linked my old nyaa torrents to my new account so they would appear in my upload list. But if there's no upload option here, it doesn't matter.

There are many unofficial batch makers, I do some 480p with long names and descriptions. If you meant me, yes, thanks~
