No "AnimeTosho is a free, completely automated service which mirrors most torrents posted on TokyoTosho's anime category and Nyaa's English translated anime category onto various file hosting (otherwise known as 'DDL') services." -About/FAQs- "Nyaa has been removed as a source, due to its shutdown. AniDex and HorribleSubs are now fetched instead." -Front page-
It's automated? Kinda nice but nyaa is gone and TokyoTosho doesn't even allow custom titles... We have to give a link to another torrent site... It's basically a site like you but not automated. So... you're basically Tokyo Tosho with a CSS right now... How about adding more? So far I registered to post at acgnx, anidex, anirena and TT too... and extratorrent has an anime section. I miss TorrentZ, it was like the google of torrents. It'd be awesome if you took everything from all places... now that the best one abandonned us T_T Thanks for the green CSS~
now with nyaa and deadfrog gone, are gonna post Tokyo Toshokan? I don't know if Anidex allows batching other groups torrents, since it's considered re-posting.
Can you link WolfPack torrents to my account? I used to be the user [WolfPack] at nyaa. Thanks~ If you doubt me, well, not many people would claim 480p as their own, and I only I can write insanely long descriptions.
it's a problem when everyone starts sending redundant requests to tracker, they'll wasting server resources. btw Only a handful of fansub groups are allowed on minglong anyway.
Please, people. These are torrents from Nyaa. They are either already approved by those trackers, or likely they will be when there's a final agreement on a fullish database is reached. And it's not really a problem if some of them will get rejected.
Are you really this oblivious of the context? I'm talking about scraping it to avoid a similar shitfest we're having right now.
As for your "ripping off other people's hard work" comment, I share admin's point of view: it's a community effort, and it belongs to the community. Not to mention the irony/hypocrisy around the idea that you're worrying about coping what people freely gave away but you're fine downloading stuff whose copyrights ("COPY-RIGHTS", get it??) are explicitly restricted by the owner.
anirena has no moderation. i added many torrents to the wrong category and nobody fixed them. and things on anirena is just repost from other places, so you will end up with more duplicate torrents then anything. I don't know what good would that do, other than cluttering up this site and waste bandwidth.
the aniDB users. all info on anidb is added and corrected by volunteer users. it's not right on just copy with it with a botscript and starts posting it everywhere.
Accessed links should be coloured differently from un-accessed links. Is that what you wanted? A line is interesting, though it does mean that visitors will need to be tracked for it to work. Might I suggest using RSS feeds instead?
Thanks for the suggestion. I've excluded Anirena for now as I'm not sure over how good the moderation/categorisation is there. Anyone know how good it is and/or think that it's useful to have?
Added: http://animetosho.torrentbay.st/s__cf/ - that just accesses this site over CloudFlare. I don't delegate the domain over, so don't know if they'll ever issue SSL for it, but it's available if it's of any assistance.
It's been added to magnets at /test/, as pointed out by the above poster. Do you think it should be added to magnets here? So far, I've just kept to the trackers listed in the torrent file.
