I can't even believe there's still people like you, though. If what you think is true, nobody hell in the world would develops HEVC, which is has much better compression than AVC.
Ive downloaded around 500 GB from from AT and DesuYo since new year. Ramen, I would love to upload, but how would I be of help if I would only use MEGA? I have no Internet programming/hacking knowledge. I mean, what if MEGA would catch me if I make 100 faks accounts?
I hope you used as much of it as possible for uploads tho. Here for the last 1 month I've uploaded 1.3 TB while only downloaded 182.5 GB, just through torrent. :^)

To be quite honest, comments were never really meant to be a social/notification/discussion system, so unfortunately, I'm not really willing to go that far on the feature set on this page. However, if there's some other system out there fit for the purpose (forum, chat system etc), I don't mind taking a look into it.
I think the bottom line is that everyone has their own situation, so whether it's sub, dub, hardsub, fat encodes, skinny encodes or file hosts that don't work well for me, AT meets wide needs.
Im sorry to hear that. Here in my country we have country-wide available unlimited usage for anyone who wants. I have it at least 9 years now. I can download as much as I want, and its only for 21 eur per month, fixed price.

Since you ask, the new bottleneck is metered service from your ISP with heavy charges for going over your monthly allocation. For those who have metered service now, hevc is a great help. For those of you who don't, enjoy it while you can.
P.S. I had unlimited service until they decided I was in the top 3% of users, then they cancelled it. I'm told that's becoming an industry-wide practice: unlimited until you take them up on it.
I cant believe that there are still people who watch anime in 720p, or some low grade 1080p...like hevc. 1080p high10p x264 is the best. Who tf should in 2017 still care about file size? Stotage is dirt cheap, cheaper than ever, just like new nvidia gpus.
suggestion: A tagging and tag notification system for signed up users i.e. if I type "@Loi-sama" in a comment, Loi-sama would be notified and given the link to said comment
Just be patient if you can't torrent it yourself :v currently 51.4% only. Please signup at nyaa and subscribe to that torrent to receive updates of its comment if you haven't unless you're Mikuandme.
