I am unsure if this has been addressed already, but I believe there was a change in search functionality made earlier this year that may be cumbersome to some AnimeTosho users (like myself). Previously, I could type just a few letters of an anime's title in the search bar and I seem to recall that potential title matches would appear, but at the very least, it would conduct a search for titles with the few letters I had typed in. Currently, potential matches do not appear when I begin to type, and unless a full and correctly spelled word from an anime's title is typed in the bar, it will report "no items found".
I will (sadly) admit that my age is on the wrong side of half century mark, and that my eyesight is as poor as my typing skills, so perhaps it is just me who misses the old search functions. Japanese anime titles often contain long words and/or "uncommon" spelling (i.e. Kyousougiga, Kakumeiki Valvrave, Gingitsune, Monogatari). Having to type in a complete title word perfectly to ensure a successful search, instead of just "kyo", "kak", "gin", or "mon", can be a challenge. It is fortunate that only one word from a title is required, so a successful search for an anime like "Yuusha ni Narenakatta Ore wa Shibushibu Shuushoku wo Ketsui Shimashita" can be done with just a "ni", "ore", "wa", or "wo".
If at all possible, please consider reimplementing the prior search functionality. I for one would be eternally grateful to AnimeTosho if I could once again complete successful searches with just a few letters of an anime's title.
It doesn't look like there's any easy way to really tell if they broke the upload because AF themselves show the correct file size. There may be some more complex approaches, but they're problematic and the issue may be fixed on their end by the time it's implemented unfortunately.
There seems to be an issue with anonfiles. Files uploaded on certain days are empty. I think the problem could be solved by re-uploading these files some days later. Would it be possible to identify and re-upload these files automatically?
hahaha... you're right.... sigh, i'm the user of Chrome.... pretty bad they don't have the feed options. i'm trying to make auto torrent downloader via RSS feed though
But do "idiots" use feeds? Maybe I'm out of touch, but I had the idea that they were more of a power user thing.
The feed URL is published in the meta tag - too bad browsers don't seem to often display these any more. I think Opera still shows the feed icon in the address bar, though I currently don't have the latest version. Firefox used to, then they removed the icon at some point. You can still view feeds via right-click (somewhere on the page) -> View Page Info -> Feeds. I don't think I've ever seen it in Chrome, and I can't seem to find any such option in it. I've got no clue what IE or Safari do.
Perhaps there's plugins around to add the feed icon to the address bar for Firefox/Chrome.
THANK YOU!! btw, i can't see any hyperlink in the page routing to the AnimeTosho's rss feed.... i don't think it will be idiot-proof... would you mind to add the link in front page?

Probably because of the time required. Depends on what kind of computer you have but the time required to encode a 1080p video is a lot longer. Unless you have an encoding server or something.
And the size of the file is large as well.
Fansubbing is generally just done as a side hobby by a lot of these guys so they may not necessarily want to invest much more time into it. Not to mention the fact that fansubbing is kinda dying out.
TokyoTosho's popular searches is an interesting feature, though, for your case, it would only be useful if what you're looking for happens to be in the top searches. I'd probably recommend considering using Google/Yahoo/Bing to search, since they probably do a better job of detecting bad spelling.

any top search option would be helpful since I have trouble spelling stuff and getting no results

Anyone has problems downloading from Anonfiles? I cant even get the download to begin. It's weird, yesterday was working just fine. Btw, website is up and can't seem to find the problem or none heard so far.
Can RapidGator be added to Jheberg? I read the FAQ and it doesn't state why the host isn't being used anymore. MirrorStack had it as an option to choose from back when it was still available on this site.
