you need to add captchas or some simple math problems to your download links...cause from what I am hearing...companies are using your site to find links and remove them
What are the limitations and restrictions for anonymous uploads? Including max file size, accepted file types, file name mangling? how long files last etc.
Thanks for the offer, although we prefer anonymous uploads.
I haven't looked at any code, but Mega sounds difficult because I'd probably have to implement their encryption. I may look at Jheberg instead (thanks for the tips by the way!).
hey guys, shouldn't you guys have an irc chatroom on irc.rizon.net ? Would be useful for reporting dead links, just a place to hang out and stuff, and it'll be useful if you needed new uploaders & stuff the #animetosho room is free for the taken ;o
You can download it and repair with a torrent client like utorrent. Beats downloading it from torrent. Besides, i think it is one of the best host with good speed, no wait time and no captcha compared to the rest.
Only a handful of files are corrupt, some are not so you need not suggest taking it down.
i Can Open An Accaunt for you guys and give you the email and password and it's easy to use ; u just have to click on "browse" and chose the file than click تحميل
Please reconsider using AnonFiles. So far I've found 3 files to have CRC problem after being downloaded from that site. Those are Hataraku Maou Sama 03 and 04 by fansub Commie and Suisei no Gargantia by Hadena fansub. It has no waiting time, and download is fast, but what is the use if the file is broken, right?
In order for Mega to added to embedupload, you need an account. And to get an account on that service, it requires an legal business. That, and Mega has a max of 50 GB of storage per account.
For some time jheberg wasn't successfully uploading to mega, so I stopped for a bit (it was getting annoying creating an account that did nothing).
But yesterday and today I created an account and has been uploading to mega without problems. So unless something happens, I should provide mega. Also for jheberg, I recommend creating an account, it doesn't have to be a real email, a fake one will work (no account creation confirmation). Creating an account will bypass the 10sec delay to going to one of mirrors.
If you want mega.co.nz Tibb posts a link that has it and it's in the http://www.jheberg.net links that has other multi-links to different sites selected.
Now the files are starting to get corrupt on me again from Anonfiles went like a month (maybe longer) without it saying the files are corrupt and now all of a sudden am getting corrupt files back to back. :/ Oh well
Some have outdated pc that they can't play it smoothly and most just don't know what they are doing. For example. John_Rhogan and his 3-year Compaq Presario. He complain up a storm about wasting time to re-encode from 10-bit to 8-bit while my 5-year Toshiba Satellite plays 10bit 720p perfectly fine.
Very interesting as to why people prefer 8bit over 10. Some, here too, even start insulting 10bit groups releases. Is it because they use something way too outdated and too lazy to earn a few hundred buck or is it superstitious?
1. Unfortunately the comments were implemented on a torrent basis rather than a series. The problem with the latter is that I'd expect most users to click into a torrent/file link rather than the series link. Also, the automatic series classification system is somewhat unreliable :( But if you know of a way to solve these, I'm interested!
2. I'm hoping not to take donations - AT doesn't actually do that much. Go support the guys who actually bring this content to everyone, eg creators and fansub groups!
Wow, what an overreaction. Nothing was said about donations to enable faster downloads or payment for downloads. A bitcoin donation would simply be an anonymous thank you to admin for providing the time and resources that makes doing what we already do even easier.
(grammar fixed. I'm bored and have nothing to do.)

Why would accepting bitcoin donations be needed? Admin never once said he needed any which I think he shares some of the opinions of other fansubbers. Why pay for something to download when you can get it for free(this doesn't include retail, which I say you should support) unlike other downloading sites just to get faster download.
Yeah, the resolver is a bit messed up. Some of its guesses need ammending :/ Thanks for pointing it out.
Out of interest, would there be anyone willing to volunteer in doing the mundane task of categorising files? I'm surprised at how good the automated resolver is at guessing them, but it does fail epicly quite frequently too...
