How about adding fonts/chapters attachments feature? Only one or 2 hosts should be enough as i don't think they will be reported or i think dropbox can do the job because file won't be deleted because of inactivity.

True.
A few things :
- Is there a reason why only certain ones are checked?. Do some sites not allow it?.
- If the links are gone i don't think keeping the info really matters, since they can not get the DL files here.

"Maybe do it with some optional filter. But thanks for the suggestion! ."- Could you not make the script check all the hosts  for dead links and auto-delete the posts or is it not possible? .Thanks for the reply ,just trying to think of small things to make the site nicer to use .Thank you.

Seems logical, though I don't see that many requests for reuploads.
A few things though:
- not all hosts are link checked, so knowing about dead links isn't always straightforward
- some of the info collected (eg MediaInfo) for files may still be useful to someone

Maybe do it with some optional filter. But thanks for the suggestion!

It was done for some hosts. Whether or not archive wrapping actually allows links to last longer was somewhat questionable though...

Would it be possible to have any old posts where the links are all dead or failed to be uploaded to be automatically deleted from the site .I think it is a good idea and will keep the archives looking better and stop people asking for re-uploads on files.

Hope you can implement this,i am tired of seeing groups like deadfish, aot, riycou, youshikibi, hybrid, etc on here .There bad quality and there group leaders act like they are superior to others after taking there encodes and subs without even asking them.

Admin, is it okay if you can upload a file in rar, zip or 7z file and then rename it differently so that the file can last longer ?

can I suggest filesharing sites such as http://www.uptobox.com/, http://zomgupload.com/, http://filerio.in/

That information isn't actually being gathered.
Will probably look into it but will take a while.

Thanks for the suggestion.

That would be nice. Or at least show them separately. Wait for whiners who want very small size or too lazy to install codecs.

Admin i was wondering if it was possible for you to filter out the re-encodes that are taken from Nya? They take up so much of the listing and certainly not what i am looking for. Although we can filter out certain words in our account, i have already max out the number of words possible for filter and i realized that it is more effective if you could go for this "http://www.nyaa.eu/?page=search&cats=1_37&filter=1&term=" instead.

This is just my suggestion though. I am not sure if others would bash me for it. ={

Yes ,it's nice to see someone sharing download links without expecting anything in return.Since this is one of the few reliable anime sites that adds  good & reliable filehosts .Thanks for the site & hope you can keep it going for a long time.

Well, as you said, other sites already provide more social interaction - I ultimately don't see the point in replicating this just to be like everyone else.
I mean, like, why would someone come here for the social stuff when there's other sites that already do it, and have bigger communities?
Being a leecher oriented site, I'm not sure about the value of people joining here to be honest.

Though I do think this site could use with some improvements to interactivity, but it's not a high priority for me.
Was there anything in particular you think would be really helpful? Thanks for the explanation by the way.

Actually, I was trying to point you to the MediaInfo dump ("Additional Info") which shows that there's no subtitle track.

Thanks.

Not really. I guess you can consider the "BETA" flag as implying this site isn't the most stable.
I'm just slowly working on improving things. I don't really have that much free time these days.
What were you implying by "REAL"?

I don't fully understand what you're saying, but I can't see too much purpose of extracting audio tracks for it to be really worth the effort.
Could you explain how it would be useful?

Oh i see.. i still have that imageshack domain unregistered issue. so i was not able to check screenshots to see if it was hardsubbed. thanks for confirmation.

It was not much big issue with gotwoot subs. there was few alphabets corrupted in some lines. Later i replaced subs from original video file, so i can't check it again. though i just looked at tiny paste and i can't find either. maybe that was font issue. sorry for the report.. I just downloaded Zetsuen no Tempest [Tsuki] subs for both episodes .. If i see the same problem somewhere, first i will confirm it on tinypaste and then report you with exact line number.

Thanks for all the hardwork and keeping this site alive. :)

It's probably not perfect, but great to hear that it was useful.
For the HorribleSubs releases you mentioned, they don't seem to contain a soft subtitle stream:
https://animetosho.torrentbay.st/file/horriblesu...-mkv.39221
https://animetosho.torrentbay.st/file/horriblesu...-mkv.39215

A cursory glance at the GotWoot Magi 01 subs doesn't reveal anything likely to be an encoding issue but I obviously didn't read through every line. I wouldn't be surprised if it existed, but can you point out which line there's an issue with so I can investigate?

Dropbox is actually used, but only for some files and in encrypted form.
Dropbox links only show up for files at least 14 days old, and only to registered users. The idea is to hope that the links stay active for longer periods of time.

Yeah, it's kinda only there for those who happen to have PutLocker premium.
Unfortunately we don't directly upload to PutLocker so can't control the process entirely. But if we do eventually do so, it's definitely something I'll do.

i really like new embedded subtitle feature. you're making life really easier. thanks a lot.

though Psycho-pass 01 horrible release doesn't have embedded subs.. is that some problem with the video? Also i downloaded Magi 01 GotWoot embedded subs from tinypaste, there were some characters problem. i wonder if its because of tinypaste character encoding or the script encoding problem.

PutLocker links seem to be... useless. Most links I tried require Premium account to download original file.
I think files need to be packed before being uploaded to PL.
