IMO it does not even need a setting. Just output a UTC epoch time in some hidden attribute on each timestamp and format it using a little JS on the client, it will use the system timezone.
They asked for solutions, they already had them. What they didn't have is a way to connect without VPN or workarounds and now it's already fixed by the admin.
Thanks for the info! It looks like you have something else going on, that is, not the IPv6 issues also reported here (as you're connecting over IPv4). The traceroute showing everything being dropped after the first hop leads me to believe the issue is likely with your ISP. Are you able to access https://animetosho.torrentbay.st/s__storage/ ?
This page seems to show some possibly outdated info with UK ISPs.
Sorry for the late reply and thanks for the investigation. I suspect the host has done something with their networking, possibly blocking some ICMPv6 packets. I've lowered the MTU temporarily, which seems to resolve the issue (whilst I investigate futher). Can you confirm whether IPv6 works for you now?
Yeah. we heard you. I'm not here to moderate. You already told us what your problem is. Since, I don't manage this site. I can only say wait for the admin. I know nothing. and so do you. So, stop being an ass.
But can access the site through https://animetosho.torrentbay.st/s__ipv4/ or through VPN. so something was wrong. If you cant actually provide a solution dont bother talking to me
Lol this is a pretty important issue, basically went unacknowledged until some guy came in yesterday talking about it, should be addressed. If 40% of ppl cant access the site w/o VPN because of some server or connection issue, it should be addessed. Some other person below is claiming that the IPv6 connection is broken, so yeah it should be dealt with. People like this site and don't want to see it go, I thought my ISP was censoring Tosho, but no it's a problem on Tosho's side of things. This literally could've been avoided if it was mentioned or addressed in here. Not like the news archive says anything. And nobody on Reddit or Twitter said shit. So I'm forced to come here. I got no other fuckin outlet.
Complaining doesn't solve anything, you should remember that he's doing this for free, the admin doesn't owe you anything. I can still access this site with no problems. maybe the problem is just on your end.
Lol same here. All my pings get a request timed out message like the ones in your image, cant access the site the way I usually do, kinda messed up. Just wish the problem was acknowleged, ya feel? I didnt see ANYONE talk about this now. So I'm glad I aint the only one suffering here.
Seems like its an IPv6 issue on Tosho's backend? Thats what other people are saying? I've been having the same issues, cant connect without a VPN since I get a connection timed out. The site is acting up not sure why, would be great if the admin responded! It's clearly affecting other users!
Same thing has been happening for me, the site is kinda unreliable. On some devices I can connect to the site, but for others I get my connection timed out. Same as the other guy. But my experience with the site was fine like, yesterday.
Not sure if Tosho is down or its just me, but for some reason I can't access the site without a VPN. Unless my ISP is limiting my access to this site???
Thanks for the suggestion! I don't plan to implement anything like that, but if you get a comma separated list of AniDB IDs, you can append it to https://animetosho.torrentbay.st/?aids=, for example: https://animetosho.torrentbay.st/?aids=1,2,3
(there's also no need to post this multiple times)
Pls add a option to make a list of anime that one is watching so that he/she can directly download the latest release episode from that particular section. Saves time and also help to keep record of the animes one is watching
Sometimes Nyaa doesn't return a torrent file, which causes the process to fail. I've gone through and fixed a few instances of it happening in the last few days. Thanks for reporting the issue!
Rewording what the above commenter said, if you visit this website in the Tor Browser, there should be an ".onion available" button on the right side of the address bar.
