-.-
Actually, I somewhat suspected a purple-ish theme might be a little offsetting to some, and wanted to do a green one, but I couldn't find anyone (significant) with green hair in this season's shows...
I've added a little thing on the side, but, as I don't like maintaining 3 stylesheets, don't expect it to be there forever.

Agreed ,the purple looks pretty bad.I don't know why you would choose such a horrible looking color when the previous one looked better.

P.P.S. Your web site is the only thing that makes it possible for me to feel like I'm living in the 21st century.  So far, this century has been a big disappointment to the sci-fi of my youth back in the 20th century.

P.S. The link to the group's web-page is very useful for other purposes, but it' surprising how little info subbing groups provide about the storyline/genre of the title they're releasing.

Love this website.  But if you're looking for ideas, I'd say one of the common problems is to look at a title and wonder "What's this one about?"  Two possible things to do: 1. A direct link to that title's AniDb.net or MAL entry; 2. Suck one of the screen-shots from the info page onto the homepage for each entry.  Due to size, this would reduce the number of listings per page, but it seems I get a good impression about whether a title would interest me just from seeing a screen-shot.

Thanks for all your hard work!

The color is a nice change, but how about this: A dynamic color change based on new files created.  When lots of new files, veering towards hot red.  When few new files, veering towards cold blue.

You'd be the first.

I'd be in favor of more contrast between the in process "grey" and the main color also.

TokyoTosho changed their page layout which broke the parser.
Should be fixed now, thanks for pointing out.

Wont you be uploading [777] Deadman Wonderland - 07-08 [BD 1080p x264 AC3 - DXVA_PCH]?
it appears in the search https://animetosho.torrentbay.st/search?q=deadman
but when i click the link, it redirects me to:
https://www.tokyotosho.info/details.php?id=489978

Thank you very much, GREAT SITE

Actually, graying them out helped tremendously. It was hard to spot the difference between blue italics from blue normal text. Now I think it's all good.

I've got to say, although it does bloat the listings a bit I really enjoy being able to see basically everything released that I care about on one page. AnimeTosho is now my one-stop seeing-what's-being-released shop. I'm in favor of keeping the feature unless it's universally hated.

Trying to avoid that. This isn't really a request service. I may do it because I feel like being nice, but it's not where I'm aiming this site towards.

Thanks for the suggestion.
I totally agree with you - the limits are mainly in place because of bandwidth/load concerns. Ideally, there'd be none at all.
I'm still experimenting at the moment. I'll probably up the limits a bit when I'm a bit more confident.

What do you mean by the request page? People submitting requests?
But even if that's the case, it won't inform people of what's skipped (and in one nice chronological listing). I'm guessing people may be just using the listing here to see what's new, rather than checking other sources.

Ok, I read the about...
"Anything over 12GB": fine with me, it cuts out really big stuff like big batches; might cut out movies with high bitrate, but you can see what ppl will say.
"Whatever the script considers to be a 'batch', over 1.5GB": here I dissent (hehe), since it's not uncommon for 1080 bd rips to be like 3 gigs for 3 eps, or like when a batch of 5 eps is the actual release (like doki is doing whith clannad), so you mau think of upping the limit or change the filter method.
just suggestions, the truth is that I' really happy with this website, comes handy for no bt ppl ;)

Greying may help, but why have links that can't be downloaded ?.As a DDL site it makes no sense ,i think i may have said it previously but a request TokyoTosho torrent/Nyaa page link would be better for files that are skipped/to large for the auto upload script. Also thank you for the multi hosts when so many sites are limiting there uploads to gain money :D

Someone else wanted it.
Initially I thought somewhat the same, but I thought I'd try it out the suggestion. I suppose it's useful to those who wish to use DDL but wonder why some files are missing. I can try greying them out if that helps...
What do people think/suggest?

Thanks for this site. I am in the midst of writing a fully automated scraper for anime/manga and this mirror service will be one of the backends.

Please remove the links that don't have any downloads leading to them,it serves no purpose other than to confuse/annoy. Up till a week or so ago there was no problem, but now half are in italic and just redirect to torrent .If people wanted to use torrent they would use nyaa torrents or tokyotosho and not ddl sites like this one .Thank you for the site :).

It's pretty weird, my default value is already true. Still it doesn't work. But without 's', it works perfectly. Maybe is my FF acting up or the HTTPS is not working. Either way, no great deal of damage done.

Interesting that you seem to have issues connecting to TT's HTTPS version (they seem to be using 2048-bit RSA/128-bit RC4/SHA encryption - possibly something's disabled that combination on your Firefox).
Removing the 's' from 'https://' should allow you to get to it, though I'm curious as to why it would be disabled.
Perhaps try accessing about:config (open new tab, and enter it as the address), search for security.ssl3.rsa_rc4_128_sha - the default value should be true (if it isn't toggle it to true)

I see. Thank you. But would you have any clue why I cant access the https(SSL) of Tokyo Toshokan? Is it just me?

Anything over 12GB in size and 'batch' files over 1.5GB are now in italic. it's just a link to general tosho telling that such files exist. for a moment stop downloading/leeching.

There seem to be a great deal of links that are large in file size on the main page, when i click upon them, none of the link open up(error). Is the system caching the files to be processed? But why cant we access them? Is it just me?

nice 1 m8 :)
now all you have to do to get what i said is list all groups that subbed a anime at the top of the page, and when clicked, will use that new search ability, of course i guess that part will have to be done either manually, regexp based or what ever your using for the file info page (where it shows the group name/link)
of course even if you dont do that, with this new search ability implemented, im fine :D

why not add these files only as torrents. This way people will at least know that they exist. With something like a message that says those files are too big for uploading.

Nice implementation. Now we have all the different group releases for a single anime under one page. Thanks

Yeah, awesome suggestion actually, though there's a few difficulties with implementing it. I'm currently focusing on fixing back end issues at the moment, so I'm not paying too much attention on the website that you actually see at the moment.
Regardless, you'll probably better results using search than my attempts at classification anyway.
I've just added the ability to search within a show (just go to the page for the show, then tick "This series only" on the left and enter the group's name above), so hopefully that's helpful.

There has never been any more filtering than before, in fact, it's only ever been reduced.
How it works is stated here.
- Anything over 12GB in size
- Whatever the script considers to be a 'batch', over 1.5GB in size

If you wish, you can make a request for a particular file that was filtered out and I may manually put it through.
