I agree with everyone else's assessment. Gofile is very fast for a free download server. Its not quite as fast as when I download paid premium links but pretty close. I almost never get slow speeds on Gofile. And even the rare slow speeds are still fairly fast. Its definitely on your end. Could be your setup or maybe your isp is capping your speeds. Try downloading outside of peak hours. If you live in a network congested are internet speeds are often capped. They get capped because businesses are prioritized and also the other purpose of capping is because more people are online so speeds are slowed so downloading doesn't kill someone else's network. Try a wired connection instead. A wired connection may help your speeds (less connection as opposed to wireless) Also your speed issue could be from the way you are downloading the files. I also use IDM (Internet Download Manager) and always get the fastest possible download speed the download server websites allow. Download managers tend to be better than browser downloaders.
It's already been mentioned, that your experience might be caused by network issues or a lazy client setup on your side. Just adding, that gofile-downloader script is properly maintained and another good option. https://github.com/ltsdw/gofile-downloader My personal opinion is, that even if your points were the general experience, it wouldn't really matter. A download script/tool is running for hours in the background. The computer is doing it's task and doesn't need any attention or help. So anyway, no problem.
Speed varies with the amount of traffic on the server. Sometimes I get around 7Mbps and other times it is slower. When it comes to batches I DL from a few sites at the same time since my connection is faster than they are.
gofile speeds are very good, i think your client or network is the bottleneck also 10 sessions? i have never encountered per session download cap of gofile
Do you think 16 GB+ pushes to ddls make sense anymore? Most ddl services cap their speeds after a few GBs. Gofiles, for example, could take 10 sessions with a couple of hours between each. Wouldn't it make more sense to only send fetches to Usenet and save ddl-services for new shows?
The comment was originally copied from the TokyoTosho comment. To simulate something similar for Nyaa, it just takes the first line of the description. It doesn't take the description from inside the torrent file.
If you look at a torrent's page, say, https://animetosho.torrentbay.st/view/mtbb-shing...k.n1838914 then Comment field currently displays the first line of the source page. However, .torrent files have their own comment entry. Is this the intended behaviour?
i really like anime but i don't understand any Japanese so i would appreciate if i could read also the English title on an info page. for example at https://animetosho.torrentbay.st/series/tensui-n...hime.18527 it says "Tensui no Sakuna-hime" which is sure better to read for me then " 天穂のサクナヒメ" but if there somewhere would be the english title "Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin" written it would help a lot!
I have Verizon for my internet and for years I couldn't access Nyaa.si and a few other sites without a VPN. When I upgraded to a faster internet service last year they gave me a new modem and for some reason I can access those sites (the ones that are still around) without a VPN. I thought maybe they had some kind of block through the modem settings that was preventing me from accessing a few very popular pirate sites. Something to look into maybe?
Just to elaborate why I like the changes I find it's a lot easier to browse with the new nav touches, especially when looking to pull audio or attachments for home muxes.
Just finding this thread now and I've been really enjoying the new means of episode navigation! I'm glad someone brought it up and in hindsight it's cool following the troubleshooting that led to what we now have!
The error I generally keep getting when checking nyaa.si is:
"504 - Gateway Timeout . That’s an error.
We did not receive a timely response from the upstream server. That’s all we know."
I still get this error even when using a VPN. Otherwise I get some connection not secure error. Not sure what causes this, but some days it works, some days it doesn't. That's why I just use nyaa.land instead, since it always works for me.
Of course animetosho is a better alternative for anime, but it doesn't include the extra content available on nyaa like soundtracks/mangas/artbooks/games/live actions/raws/etc.
There's pros and cons to using a VPN. Cons would include being inconvenient - not everyone wants to tunnel their entire connection just to access one website. You also may have to maintain a paid subscription, which isn't everyone's cup of tea.
Don't know what you mean by "malicious mirror", but I've been using nyaa.land for a year or two and never had any issues. There are other mirrors you can try like nyaa.iss.one or nyaa.eu, but nyaa.land is my personal favorite.
Try nyaa.land. I also have issues accessing nyaa.si, some days it works, some days it doesn't. Not sure why but nyaa.land always seems to work for me though.
I don't know when it happened, but thanks for adding cached versions of source site pages! nyaa is blocked in my country, and nyaa has seemed to be hostile to tor and all the group proxies I've tried.
Thanks for the services you provide and the offer. For the latter, unfortunately I don't accept donations of any sort, and we don't present ads here.
It might make more sense for you to make a browser add-on or magnet link handler - this will work across all websites without needing to get each website owner to change their site.
Ah I didnt see the username, if the admin of AnimeTosho is willing, TorBox is willing to sponsor all of AnimeTosho's payments.
I am the owner of TorBox, I use this site often, which is why I recommended the above comment, and why we would be more than willing to pay for all of AnimeTosho's server costs. We appreciate the work you do.
Contact me at our Discord (https://discord.gg/wamy) or Telegram (https://join-telegram.torbox.app). Not really asking for anything in return other than for a quick add link to make my life easier haha.
Except some of us here have seedboxes and or a VPN. I don't come here for the DDL but the listings of the 3 different sites all in 1 spot. Listing those hardly uses any resources to talk about.
1fichier has been in use by Animetosho since 2013 is there a particular reason for using 3rd party sites like Multiup which only allows smaller size files? (1fichier and fichier is the same file site . Guessing they abandoned fichier name at some point)
Even if you delete the node for the popup you cant proceed. The bottom of page is darkened and basically seized up. Disabling popup blockers doesn't work. Looks to me they they are forcing people to pay. Paying for premium is one thing but using fucked up practices for money to remove a popup is bullshit. Ive paid for premium at a few places but no way in hell would I be giving them my credit card info for a penny for 30 minutes with that shady crap. Probably a bunch of hidden charges. If they had left a message like "We are moving to premium only" Id be good and perhaps think of getting a premium account but with this underhanded shady crap no way would I trust Mdiaload. The way I see it they are losing far more business than they will gain going this route.
The link seems to be working fine on my browser. I saw the page when I searched for the issue as well. Unfortunately, it doesn't provide much help. It looks like I'll have to figure something else out as I really don't wanna open the website every time I need check out new torrents.
Thanks for the additional info. The URL given seems to work here for me. Can you access it in your browser?
Maybe see if you can get more info out of qBittorrent, as that message doesn't say much. From a quick search, I found this which might help with diagnosis.
It looks like it's possible to delete the popup via the developer tools, if you know how (gist is to right-click on the masked out background, Inspect Element, then right-click and delete the highlighted node) but can be finicky.
Unfortunately ClickNUpload disabled anonymous uploads, so it stopped working here.
