Actually, you can use ad-blockers with uptobox and non-premium acounts if you also block javascripts (using NoScripts for Firefox, NotScripts for Chrome, etc.). Most functions still work. The only side effect I notice is that the timer doesn't count down, but it will still give you the link after waiting 45s and clicking the download button.
Oops, nevermind, it's just Avira being an over-protective dick. Can't blame it, though.
Turned it off and it extracts just fine.
So, Malewarebytes gives me a green light, but 7-Zip and Winrar both continue to give me a "denied access". I don't think the download went wrong so idk, but considering those files are fresh I still can try to download by other means.

Well, there goes my long term file storage plan...
At least it seems our files are still there.
Will need to find another host though.
Have you tried removing the .rar extension?
It's a valid 7-Zip file, but not a valid RAR file.
av work by signatures (confirmed existing viruses) and heuristics --things that are in theory suspicious, like nested containers, or apparently nested containers, or extraneous extensions.
I just downloaded, scanned each part with Norton Security and they are clean.  I extracted and combined them, then checked each extraction and the combined finished mkv.  All clean and the mkv played fine.

It must be the extra rar creating a false alarm.  I suggest going to DevHost if you can.

As for "access denied" I don't know if Avira flags suspect files the way Norton would.  If Norton hits an alarm, it flags and deletes the file.  You almost can't stop it.
I'm gonna get Malwarebytes to try it out too, but the fact that 7-zip itself tells me access is denied worries me. I'll check if it's safe with MWB and if it is I'll try to turn of Avira for a minute.

The annonced type of malware/shit Avira gives me is: HEUR/Malware.

It also raised alarms for other files I recently downloaded from AF (rar format), so I guess that's where the problem is. Weird anyway. I'll post back to say what happened.
Actually, it's also the case for the second file. The AV is Avira.
Also, when I try to open any of the three with 7-Zip, access is denied. What the fuck is this?
To get AnonFiles working again, admin had to add a "rar" suffix, so on AnonFiles part 1 looks like this:
[HorribleSubs] Inari, Konkon, Koi Iroha - 05 [720p].mkv.001.7z.rar

Your note is the second av alarm on an AnonFile I've seen in two days.  I checked the other instance out with Norton and it was clean.  My guess is the extra rar on the end raises flags for some av software.  When I can, I'll download this one to check (I'm having connection problems at the moment).

As long as no executable files are involved (exe or bat or such), there should be no danger.  All we do here at AT is extract, combine and play media files.

----------------------
I see DevHost is back, if that is useable for you.  There are no rar complications there.
Welp, my AV just sent me an alarm about the first file on AnonFiles. False positive?
mega changed and AT can't use it.  However Tibb often includes it in his offerings.  In this case, the multiup.org one.
not using mega.co.nz anymore?
thanks. more like 2-3 days.
I'm downloading the torrent now. probably in 2-3 hours or so.
thanks for replying, but the hotspot network i'm using don't support those things.
that's why i'm on this site.
You could try getting it from their xdcc bot if nobody has posted this up yet. Here is a tutorial to help you get started: http://bit.ly/1jxcEC4

Their Ep.1 comment:

"Because >Funi.

Releases will continue until the translator gets bored."
Well, you'll find out whether your assumption is correct at the end of the season.  For now, it is a secret.

Awesome. Thanks for having it back.
I assume it's lyger or one of the translator from Evetaku, considering the group's name is the same as their blog.
This has received trusted (blue) status on Nyaa.

Looks like they finally got around to fixing it.
Well it's been re-activated.

Thanks for the notification.
I see AnonFile links on this page.

There's been a lowering of the file size for Anon.  Now when a file is bigger than 250MB and therefore needs two links, you won't see the links until you open this page, instead of their being listed on the AT homepage.
Can someone add a AnonFile link? The proxy here doesn't allow me to download using the other links except for AnonFiles.
