Anime-sharing provides DDL for just about all torrents, actually. Maybe people are picky because of the sites they choose to upload to though?

Rudeness aside, this person might be getting at how some appear to be taking advantage of AT. As in using it as a personal leeching service. Some of the 50+GB torrents seem to be asking for a bit much. A lot of stuff ends up on a-s, warezbb, etc.

Otakucop seems to have a really good system in place that can't really be abused.

Deadfish has had colon problems before. It's always a smelly mess.

It's only a Windows limitation, as Linux, and presumably MacOS, handle colons in file names fine.

Ultimately, I don't think we should be renaming files (if possible) as we just pass files along. So I'd suggest:
- try asking DeadFish not to include colons in their file names. Most groups don't do this because it doesn't work on Windows
- get 7-Zip (or whatever extraction tool you're using) to deal with invalid characters as I'd consider it to be a bug in that application

I hope that's at least somewhat useful.

admin-thanks for letting this series of this size in, deadfish & uploaders thanks for putting this up, BUT win7 64b, and before can't handle "colons" or ":" in titles or file names on those OS's, so please why on earth continue to have them and especially why put them into a *.7z files that can't be extracted through average means? Ugg. Otherwise, thanks.
