Ouch!  That's a lot of dialogue.  But is it worth an entirely new translation when a Hulu-Mod is possible?  Or even just using that hardsub extraction program and attach the edited results to BD?

I sure appreciate people willing to do any of this stuff.  It would drive me nuts.  I do love having new translations to compare, but so much work even for a modified version.

I guess that's the debate that divides fansubs these days: Those that mostly do original translations, like gg-subs, and those who do mostly CR-Mods, like Commie-Subs.  I'm glad for all of them, including Horrible.

That was just an guess,I would estimate that it has about 1200-1500 lines of dialogue [since it is 1H:49M's]to translate and will not be getting a speed release.These kind of movies usually appear when they have free time to work on them and are not busy with work/uni/college/etc,so maybe this weekend or some time near that [??].

An alternate theory is that the franchise is so well known that you'd be asking for trouble if you associated with it as a fansub.  But I don't know.  Chihiro-Subs used to do all the Hayate! but they aren't as active these days.  The movie and previous series got some attention when they went to BD.

Yes it's ripped from Hulu and there's BD's encodes of this available (raw) but I don't know about the BDMV to this tho.

Hardsubbed movie.  Hulu-rip some say.  No English subbed-BD in sight, so other options may not appear for a while.
