If you still have problems:
1. Include information which player, OS (Win7, Win95, etc.) and cpu you are having problems with
2. Try another player.  There's information on several at downloads.cnet.com  I recommend CCCP because it has a large installed base with anime fans.  If something isn't working with it word will get out and there are lots of local experts.  Otherwise, I would recommend trying VLC because it is self-contained and won't overwrite system files used by other video players.  It also has a large group of local fans.

They seem to be using fairly new software. This means audio or video encoding software they are using is different from the established groups. Try installing latest update version of player and codec pack to load updates to handle the new stuff..

Being a new group they are using new software. You may need to update your player and codec pack.

Established groups often see no reason to change or update software that works so that is why everything else plays fine on your existing version that is not from this group.

It said most not "all",and yes "most" play them okay including;kmplayer,gomplayer,potplayer,mplayer,mplayer2,vlc,mpc,mpc-hc and more.

the episode count depends on how you count it (lol) it runs for about 10 minutes , so this 2199 contains 3 episodes,
on the single episode count they have almost reached episode 7000 (think they are at 6917 or something like that)

From an automation perspective, it could be difficult to get right. I'd also have to see whether that site owner is fine with something like this.

v2 of naisho's first episode seems to show subtitles in MPC-HC and PotPlayer's internal subtitle renderer. Have also tested with xy-vsfilter and seems to work as well.
I don't know about this file in particular, though the content is definitely all there if you check the Embedded Subtitles link above.
