For playback issues please try the lastest version of "VLC" player. No codec pacs required since VLC does it's own decoding. There is a Windows and Mac version available.

meaning they rendered and re-encoded it properly.  No question of their playback running easy, but they have had audio lag problems in their re-encoding process on occasion.

Good stuff from Yogicat, as usual.  I just checked and the deadfish renders the text properly and doesn't get jammed up or lag.

How about watching the hardsub reencode from DeadFish?

A small update:  
1. The episode file is indeed un-damaged and as rori intended it, but you probably haven't much hope of running it with CCCP or MPC-HC near that 18 minute mark without the xy-VSFilter update.  The authors of this upgrade (3.0.0.65) describe it as “Up to multiple orders of magnitude faster than VSFilter 2.41” (which is what shipped with CCCP).

For now, your options are to update, or skip the problem section, or try the Aho-Taku version.  If you try to play it without the update, the lag-breakup and dropped frames can carry all the way to the closing credits.

2. This update is for 32-bit video players only, whether they are running on a 32-bit or 64-bit OS.  (CCCP is a 32-bit player package only.)

3. CCCP users: If you ever do a global re-register of the filters after this update, it will revert you to the previous version.  There are instructions for avoiding this problem at

Lastly, I wouldn't count on a v2 from rori to remove this problem, but at least they now know a lot of people are affected by it.

I tried a re-install of the xy-VSFilter update and now the subs run ok with CCCP or MPC-HC.  (I think a recent install of AegisSub 3.x over-wrote the newer filter version.)  

The problem with this episode is that there is just a lot of typesetting information during the computer screen texting section around the 18 minute mark.  The new filter update is far more efficient so can handle the load.

Make a note of instructions for MPC-HC users at the beginning of the install for settings to check/change after installation.  (These instructions, very inconveniently, would not copy and paste out of the install note.  I had to copy them by hand.)

Potplayer/64-bit whips thru it but doesn’t display the text quite properly. KMP did the best job of it. Putlocker creates a "mobile" small version for free download (but you have to register to download it).  To get the original file, you have to buy a membership.  Unless you already had a membership there, it's not a good option.

Paid memberships are a bad idea because:
1. These companies fold faster than Superman on laundry day (a very old joke)
2. You link your identity with a place where anonymity is your best policy
