The anon is saying that if you are trying to post your ABX test results, and for them to have at least some credibility, you need to submit both audio files along with the log so that one can verify the SHA-1 checksums and see if indeed the files you listened to were in the test. But I'm sure you already knew that.
for this release:

1. torrent it
2. The Usenet download may still be valid.  google Usenet providers.

ddls only last a few weeks and AT doesn't renew them.

Some random nice person might make a ddl for you.
how do you download the full thing
plz help with the seeds...

Make sure you're submitting the direct link to the .torrent file, not a link to the info page.
If you still can't get it to work, you can try another tracker like Anirena, or upload the .torrent file to some host which provides direct links.

I think you'll find a variety of reasons why people choose to torrent: from the wider selection of sources to just not wanting to use a streaming site.
Uploading here is automated and there is no-one judging "quality" in the process.

Unfortunately this site can't satisfy everyone's wants, so there'll always be some that find AT of little value, and perhaps seems redundant.

There is currently no intention to process from Raw categories - I hope you can find an alternative solution that works for you.
Maybe because the size is over the limit for auto fetching?

Anidex no longer mirrored by AT, if you want your stuffs to appear here, upload to TokyoTosho instead,
lmao, sir, you dropped your fedora. asking for a fetch is nothing new here, however you're being edgy over someone asking for fetch is hilarious and concerning tho.
I think the question was more why there was no DDL for this.

This is complete bullshit. 128kbps opus is perfectly fine for anime. It's when you start dipping below 96kbps that you are dipping too low.
update your video player

or switch to one that's actually good like MPV / MPV.net
Why is this not working

I tried to upload an Anidex torrent to Tokyotosho like you recommended, but it says "Could not download torrent. Check the URL for typos and verify the site is online." How do I upload a torrent to Tokyotosho then?

You're the first lossy audio yapper to provide an actual ABX test, might as well verify your results.

according to nyquist theorem, no one can hear the difference past 44.1khz sample rate.
also opus is a good codec just 128kbps is a bit too low for animes as they're really shouty

You're certainly not getting anything representative of the original quality with moozzi2's filtering or similar.

I'm talking about results proving you can differentiate lossy and lossless audio. I don't care about moozzi2's cherry picked comparisons.

Saying "unlistenable" is crazy, my guy. In fact, I would bet money on you not being able to hear the slightest difference between hi-res lossless 32-bit / 384kHz and OPUS 128kbps

Yeah I'm not saying the original looks bad, but I also wouldn't call the encodes "sharpened garbage"
at the end of the day I just wanna watch anime in near original quality but that seems impossible without torrenting

Looks like almost any other anime.
Also looks completely watchable, if by "watch" we mean sitting away, not pressing your face onto the screen.
But people also have different tastes, and some players have built-in optional filters even if nobody made a release they like.

moozzi2:

the original looks like its completely out of focus for some reason

This can't be real.
Sir, reddit is that way. GBC is a CGDCT tho. I mean you just described it pretty well.

can you post some abx test results?
GBC may be called Slice-of-Life, but definitely isn't CGDCT / Cute Girls Doing Cute Things, because Nina, Tomo and Momoka aren't cute, only Awa and Rupa are (the first 3 are butthurt gremlin, cynical asshole and depressed jade). What the 5 girls are doing TogeTogether is seldom cute but often ugly: get drunk, vomit, pass out, argue loudly in public, throw beer kegs into each others faces, filp people off, attack passer-by, etc. GBC is closer to real life of rock musicians, BtR is a "diet cola" version.

> I dont understand the use for 480p releases when you can stream 1080p on streaming platforms
Because AnimeTosho is not a streaming site? Also, people also wants to download what they watch? Anyway, raws are not uploaded here. You can torrent mozzii2 stuffs if you really need them.

Tell me you don't know what FLAC is without telling me you don't know what FLAC is.

You can easily convert AAC etc into FLAC. If I was listening to music I'd prefer FLAC over AAC but with anime it's mostly voices and background sounds so I have no issues with a decent bit-rate AAC.

I get the resources part obviously but I dont understand the use for 480p releases when you can stream 1080p on streaming platforms in any subtitle language

Which part of it you don't get? Raws are not mirrored by AT simply because only a handful of people wants/needs them. Including you. The bottom line is AT resources can't afford those. I hope this helps.

I'm not telling anyone to do anything I just politely asked if it was possible and then just questioned to get a better understanding of the situation/ this site because after reading the about page it still doesn't make sense to me

I prefer the sharpened look since animes are still 1080p in 2025 for some reason. also anything that isn't flac is unlistenable with in ear monitors

Moozzi2 is not "higher quality", it's over filtered/sharpened garbage.

Since the vast majority of users want translated anime, to make efficient use of costs and resources, raws are not scraped or processed here.

As you say, you can torrent them.
