You know how uTorrent has RSS, and you can download automatically to your computer from Tokyotoshokan? A similar thing using Animetosho RSS would be cool. I think i might be able to come up with something, but interested in hearing what you think lol
*I mean did or will be converting this title, not did this screwed up version. There's someone who's been doing mp4 conversions without changing the filename, probably with good intentions, possibly without a lot of experience. (S)he needs to learn to change the filename, then do whatever they want.
--Lastly, some video players allow manual adjustment of a sound track, plus or minus a few seconds or fractions of a second. Otherwise, look around for another version, or see if a v2 (revision) shows up.
This is a 4mb version of a 22 min episode? Those Anon Russian Rippers are amazing! (In other words...) and since 2008 this group has never completed a series. The go until the donations stop.
I don't believe there's any actual links anywhere, but if your browser detects RSS feeds, it should show. What browser are you using? I think the older Firefox browsers used to show RSS feeds in the address bar, but they've removed it from there now (though still visible via right-click -> Page info -> Feeds).
To whoever: At least change the file name. Commie wouldn't want people to think this was what they released, and people wouldn't get mad thinking they were getting a Commie release when they weren't.
Some is stealing others peoples work and re-encoded them. You can find mp4 release on every sub group but remember these torrent are submitted by Anonymous so download at your own risk
This is the reason why this guy submit the torrent as Anonymous [BANNED]
I beg you, please no. That site is a bit heavy with scripts and that tells something about the developer. Most will probably not even notice it. It's probably not a big deal for some, but AnimeTosho being light-weight actually counts for something.
Plus, AT being light-weight while still being able to do what script-heavy sites do is a proof of the creator's talent. Every byte counts. Even more so when you usually open like 30-40 tabs in your browser (like me). ^_^
I've never known Commie to release an mp4, and I've never known Commie to not have a CRC number in the filename. But their website is down so I can't check.
Joining projects together may sound pretty cool, though I find in practice it's often very difficult to do. I don't know about their script (can't really even find information on whether they're using a script to add stuff), but I know the script used here was never really developed to integrate with anything else. And there's a heap of other issues, for example, someone will have to do some rework, and it's not particularly a pleasant thing to do, or how user databases get merged etc. Some people may also want to have a sense of self ownership over the website, which somewhat gets lost with a merging.
I am, however, willing to attempt some cooperative behavior, but only if I can see reason for it. An example would be the NZB links to Fanzub - a nice place which indexes them if you prefer using it. From what I can see from the shanaproject, it looks mostly like TokyoTosho but a bit more organised? If you just imagined this site with that level of organisation/layout, it's probably easier to just add it to the script here (which I plan to do some time later) than it is to attempt some kind of merge.
Hmm, looks like TokyoTosho got fed up with their unicode wrapping methods and now insert spaces into titles to force wrapping :P Anyway, thanks for pointing it out, fixed now.
You guys should work with http://www.shanaproject.com/ and collaborate on some ultimate site for downloading anime, through ddl/rss, you guys both use scripts to help the community, maybe together you guys can achieve moar!
