it would be one thing if this was a dead torrent or something but it isn't. its the first in the series and tosho has clearly messed up. its labelled incorrectly and has not been fetched properly. dont see why this issue cant be corrected? like literally check the other lostyears releases for natsume - its not like this one. sure its old. so what?

weird cause all the other seasons were fetched like normal though? why was this the exception? its also labelled wrong as "episode 9" too. I don't see why the database can't have continuity with the other LostYears releases just seems strange to me. Also for me personally I'd like if it was all fetched, it would help me out rn

The [b]torrent[/b] was for the whole season, but only episode 9 was actually fetched way back when it was posted (because all of the others were already available elsewhere).

AMZN distributes in the East and gives South East Asia subtitles (ENG, INDO, MALAY, THAI, VIET) + the length of this episode is 24:03.

Different people want different things

No problem. If you're looking to further optimize what's archived then consider the encodes from denisplay or Ewillian9. There's more details in the description but denisplay's encode achieves a better result using less data so we recommend checking them out or perhaps muxing our audio and subtitles with their video. Ewillian9's encode is also very similar in quality but uses far less data than either of ours. We assume they must have used AOM instead of SVT but that's speculation on our part.

the subs are a joke. a decent joke, but a complete joke. would be a comedy show if it was the actual dialogue. but currently the only team doing actual fan subs for this is "anon"

2,000 downloads per ep on Nyaa and no complaints.  I guess no one there uses VLC.  Not a surprise.

Strange. If all 4 subfiles had failed it would point to the the player as being the problem, but the player recognizing 1 file out of the 4 means it has to be either the .ass or the .mkvs that have some issue

If you'd like to use them on a much smaller in size BDRip, use the subs from the "synced to BD" folder. If you'd like to use them on a CR WEB-DL, the necessary shift will depend on the source. For Erai-raws or VARYG either shift the subs from the BD folder 48 frames back or shift the subs from the WEB folder 1 frame back, for Yameii or ToonsHub Multi-Audio either use the subs from the WEB folder as is or shift the ones from the BD folder 47 frames back.

How to offset subs:

Method 1:
In the Aegisub Subtitle Editor, open up the subtitle file and preferably load up your video of choice. Then go to Timing (top left bar) > Shift Times. -48 frames = 0:00:02.002 Backward, but use frames for more precision.

Method 2: (Prerequisite: have ffmpeg in your system PATH)
Open Powershell via the right-lick context menu in your sub folder and execute ffmpeg -itsoffset -2.002 -i input.ass output.ass

I will likely repack if I can source the other dubs from AMZN as well. There's also a couple minor mislabelling and mistagging mistakes from me I'd like to fix. If I do end up doing a v2, do know that the modified subs will stay the same.
