It''s 33 min long, not the standard 24 so it would be bigger.
That is the size that AMZN released. If you don't like it get a mini.
2.22 GB for a single non-4K anime episode? Oh, the spiral of bloat madness...
Is erai taws back to minis?
Here's a DDL to some additional audio languages (French, German, Spanish, Spanish (Latin), Italian):

only reason i was hitting the limits was because i was making concurrent requests.
also what kind of rate limiting do you have? like burst or normal (one request every x sec) it feels like its normal
What the hell is this crap?

Thanks for the suggestion.
I'm rather reluctant to add details of such, as I don't promise anything and like to be able to change how it works when necessary. I also consider the limits to be relatively generous and don't want to encourage getting close to the limits.
You (as a human) generally shouldn't hit them under normal usage; as for applications/scripts you'll need to be considerate and space out the requests to not overload the server. I don't have any concrete guideline, but if you're hitting the limit, you're querying way too fast.

I don't believe limits to be unusual - practically every sizable website implements them, and they almost never provide any details.

If you need a lot of data, I provide database exports for that.
There's another posting of this series from a few months ago - it's in HEVC instead of AV1 so the files are larger, but as of right now the KrakenFiles download links are still valid.
I don't see repeat requests.  They can't help but see the comment when they check the page.

you should add rate limit details to the FAQ page

Requests are rate limited to prevent misbehaving clients from overloading the server.
nginx defaults to sending HTTP 503, likely because 429 is a relatively newly defined HTTP return code.
I can change it, though it's always been 503 for as long as this site has existed.

Sorry for your lost time.

why does the rate limited response from the json api give `503 Service Unavailable` and not `429 Too Many Requests`?
well i think its a rate limit?
any chance of a re-up?
Milking women for the towns milk supply.......lmao.
As dumb as this show is it does have some truth to it regarding makeup. Shocking how much of a difference it makes with some women. One of my ex`s looked hot as fuck with makeup. Dudes were always hitting on her. Without makeup her face was a little harsh to look at in the morning.
Erai batches are auto-skipped as they are usually just a repeat of their weekly downloads.

Now it's a bit old too.
All that means is that MAL is run by delusional weebs who have a fetish for Japan
Honzuki no Gekokujou Shisho ni Naru Tame ni wa Shudan wo Erandeiraremasen (Ascendance of a Bookworm) would like to have a word. But you're not wrong either. At least the English title avoided exacerbating the issue. We'll have to contend with it again when we get around to redoing it (plagued by LSmashWorks seeking issues in some scenes/chunks).

Have a nice day,

Due to the "very long title epidemic" affecting so many Light Novels, most titles have abbreviated equivalent commonly used in japanese. Like Yorimoi for Sora Yori Moi Tooi Bashou or SukaSuka for Shuumatsu Nani Shitemasuka, Isogashi Desuka, Sukuttue Moratte Ii Desuka.

Otherwise, generally speaking the longer the official title the faster you run for the hills, since that's supposed to be a sure sign of said work being really bad in some way.
Not a bad idea, but there's one small drawback that affects edge cases where some episodes may not share the same tags as others (ex. Movies and OVAs with different resolutions and audio languages). Those details are occasionally helpful when organizing our library amongst other releases and so we'll continue using that template. Our folders don't - or at least they shouldn't - contain our tag or any other details, just the title of the show. That's intentional for several reasons: it avoids sorting issues, ensures the reliability of TVDB title parsing, and most importantly it just looks neater at the cost of being non-unique.

For the show exemplified, we'll have to make an exception and omit the episode titles just so FFmpeg/mkvmerge don't throw errors. That's not too big of a deal though, that info is still in the title metadata of the MKV container.

Cheers,
-Sav1or
Who are these people^^^
lmao can't read a few unfamiliar words. It's not written in greek. Learn to be accomodating.
Anime from japan bro, Unfortunately, MAL itself uses Japanese as the main title.
Of course MAL will use the JP title as the main, but more people in the world speak Eng than Japanese.
Even here at AT they are now adding the ENG title under the JP title on the series page.
Most people aren't here to learn Japanese and prefer it in their native language.
MAL uses Japanese titles as the main one, meaning people prefer Japanese titles, not everyone in the world speaks English.
A lot of people look for the English titles since it's a lot easier to remember. Most anime downloaders don't use Google since they already know the anime sites.
Thanks so much!
Most likely people are looking for Japanese titles on Google or torrent/nyaa.
