Damn. It was actually good. This is such a relief I feel like 1000 stones have lifted of my shoulders. They had to balls to take a stylistically different approach and own it, while keeping the spirit of the franchise intact. Holy shit this was nice to watch. |

It looks like Adult Swim officially aired it for April Fool’s Day: http://comicbook.com/anime/2018/04/01/adult-swim-flcl-season-2-early-april-fools-day/ They also aired it in the US on Toonami with Japanese audio & English subs. That’s the first time an anime has premiered in the United States on a major TV network without an English dub :o |
