With a confrontation looming with the Kitoralsus, Commander Izumi proposes a hand-rolled sushi party with the teams from East and West Japan as a team building exercise. However, something about the taste of Takatora’s sushi upsets the kids from East Japan. Hayato resolves to attempt the non-violent approach of dialogue with the Kitoralsus before an all-out attack begins, which leads him to approach them alone.

Notes:
A sudachi is a small green citrus fruit of Japanese origin. It’s sour, somewhat comparable to a lemon or lime, but more comparable to another Japanese fruit, the yuzu. It’s not a lime, however. It’s a totally different fruit.
The E7 is indeed the only Shinkansen currently that can frequency switch from 50 to 60 Hz.
The origin story of the Kitoralsus is rather similar to the origin of the Arkadians from French 80s cartoon “Les Mondes Engloutis”, also called “Spartakus and the Sun Beneath the Sea”, except the Arkadians didn’t plan to wipe out the surface dwellers.
