I replaced the low-quality R3DVD English subs from Enchibi’s release, and added my own professional English translation. I plan to release subtitles for the other versions of chapter 7 in a batch in the near future.

I don’t think I can seed much, so here’s a DDL.

I’m also planning to sub the 1985 Kitaro anime. I’m in no rush to be first to release, because I want to make a quality localization, even if that means it won’t get first-post popularity. Yeah, it’s self-satisfaction.

I didn’t mess with the video or audio from Enchibi’s release, so there shouldn’t be any errors. Enjoy.

Not that I know of. I think Enchibi’s is a re-encode of conan06’s, just at a smaller size.

There’s no real popularity in doing Kitaro '85, it’s gonna be all self-satisfaction.

The (random) episode subtitled by THSH are fine though, maybe you could prioritize the epizodes that have no English subs first so the series is fully translated?

I was planning on subbing them all (eventually) for consistency’s sake, but I will find out which episodes were already subbed beforehand.

Personally I’d say that getting full subs for gegege is better then consitency of subbing group (there are the older series and movies unsubbed also), but I’m grateful for whatever you sub.
