I have made another with some important fixes:
Bakemonogatari subs fixed (Coalgirls were not retimed, some fonts were missing, and ANE had a few minor
retimings as well), and some video sources replaced by better ones (Kawaiika-Raws for
Owarimonogatari S02 and Zoku Owarimonogatari).

This is the collection I’ve been growing since 2017. Seeing just recently that all
of the commentaries have been translated, I got the ideea to tidy it up and share it. Below are
the files I have used. None of these are my encodes, or rips. So I do not take credit
for any file, only the way i oredered and presented them.

EDIT: I now kind of feel obligated to write some kind of watch order, so I’ll just put 1 or 2 that you should choose from:

Because of stuff, problems and mismanagement, the Kizumonogatari movies were
released much later (around tsuki-owari S01), instead of immediately after Bake. But
I left them after Bake in the airing order anyway for simplicity. IMO you can watch
them anytime after Bake, but it’s your choice. They’re quite diffrent from the rest of
the series, still amazing tho.

I do not have a Seed-Box, or whatever is used to keep these torrents alive. While
I don’t plan on deleting the files, I won’t always have the torrent app open,
so it would be nice for this torrent to be seeded by as many people as possible.

All of the peisodes also have their respective commentaries, and subtitles for them.

Also, the bonus folders contains the subtitle files I used (and also, had to re-time all
of Coalgirls’s subs, as they are missing the OPs and EDs, and so they just desync
after them), PVs, CMs, creditless OPs and EDs and scans of whatever the CDs came with.

Again, every file in this collection IS NOT MINE. This is just me sharing what I downloaded and
organised over the years. And I consider it to be a pretty tidy Monogatari batch.

Creating a torrent is a different issue, you need include all necessary files, but as leecher, you can choose even only one, clear or mak the checkboxes by the filenames. Every client have a magic button. It looks:HELP! Who can not read does not worthy to complain. Nobody should count a fast download w/o a seedbox, with normal net, it will took a lot of time to get 200 gig, so, be patient

The encode linked uses Moozzi2, which are generally hated around here because they are heavily altered (sharpening, recoloring, wierd filters), making it look wrong. What I’ve uploaded uses the best encodes for this show, where possible (Beatrice-Raws, Yousei-Raws), the image being close the the original, but having nice stuff like debanding and no pixelation in dark scenes. Not an expert in this field, so I don’t know that much.

A random opinion : Kizumonogatari is best watched in the final season, despite it going against the LN order.

2021-08-28 21:15:36 UTCjazmac	2021-08-28 21:15:36 UTC — jazmac So I’ve only started watching through them and I can say that the ANE subtitles for Bakemonogatari have a few issues; Several of them are mistimed so everything is out of sync slightly; of the ones I’ve watched this is the case for the Mayoi Snail episodes. Fonts are missing for both OPs for the Mayoi Snail and Suruga Monkey Arcs. These are the things I’ve noticed as I casually watch them so there could be a variety of other missing things that I just didn’t catch.

I’ll fix it and update the file. As for the fonts, they’re fine for me. Wierd they don’t show up for you.

I took the time to look at them in a little detail and for example; The OP for Suruga Monkey Arc is supposed to be using a font called “happy hell” and that’s not present within the font attachments as far as I can see and I’ve looked at other releases using the same subs and they are noticeably different. I’m going to remux your release with the ANE (modified) subs that are floating around on other releases. If it’ll save you time, I can provide you the subtitles/fonts via DDL after I’ve checked through them myself to make sure they’re correctly synced.

You’re right, a lot of fonts are missing. But I don’t know how to update this torrent without basically making a new one. And if I do that, all the seeders will have to download it again.

I ended up going down the rabbit hole with just creating my own versions from scratch using mostly Kawaiika source (with the exception of Beatrice for Baka) and adding/checking commentary/subs/fonts as I rewatch the series again. I think the only thing you can do without creating a new torrent from scratch is to just append fixed subtitles for people to download and mux themselves (they could just take the ones I posted) or if you know how, you could also create a batch script fix and provide a ddl of that.
