Not my release, obviously. This is a 2013 release that never made its way to nyaa.
This release uses ordered chapters, so you’ll need to download all the files in the torrent in order to play it correctly. If the OPs and EDs seem to be missing, maybe try using a different video player.
Between this, FLFL, and Tap24, which release of Nisemonogatari should you watch? If I had to guess, FLFL with the Coalgirls subtitle track is likely to be the best, since FLFL has the best video. I was not impressed with Tap24’s typesetting revisions. If you want the release that is least likely to have QC problems in its subs, it’s this one. Do not watch RH.
I am working on a release of this that will be better than all existing options (subs-wise), but I don’t know when it’ll come out.

its funny that people still call coalgirls “bloatgirls” when all their encodes are actually starved as fuck |

Coal? What year is this? |

Disgusting. |

it’s both because they have an encoder who literally used crf 13 for every 1080p encode |

This show was basically built for ordered chapters. In my encodes, the OP + ED are usually bigger than the whole rest of the episode. Haven’t seen that since Asobi Asobase. Kawaiika apparently couldn’t stomach how bithungry the OP/ED were and zoned them to shit. |

zoning stuff is pretty meme-tier tbh. i don’t think it’s bloat when the bitrate is actually needed. |

its funny that people still call coalgirls “bloatgirls” when all their encodes are actually starved as fuck… what can you expect from someone who cries like a baby when wav audio files are uploaded? and thanks for this |

>needed
Reminds me of a self encode of TWGOK when I probably could have saved atleast 1-200MiB per episode shaving the OPs |

I actually never had any problem with an ordered ch. release, as a matter of fact, I never even knew of their existence till someone started bitching about it. I simply used a decent player, and that is it. |

The main problem with ordered chapters is they don’t work with Plex. They should stay a remnant of a bygone era where people had 300gb hard drives and not 4TB SSDs |
| Interruptor |
Why are so many people fixated on Plex? I never understand the reasoning behind it. Also, fuck arguing that ordered chapters are a thing of the past, there is an increasing amount of media getting released each year, if you didn’t care about size at all just download BDremuxes. |

@Interruptor I like being able to use a media manager to keep track of everything I’ve watched, and when new episodes come out via RSS feeds. All I need to do is load up the interface. |

you missed april fools by a few days… |

@Interruptor Believe it or not, not everyone sits at their computer 24/7 using MPV/MPC/VLC. Plex is very useful when you have a home theater setup (or two), travel, etc. |

Most of it is getting worse, therefore canceling out anything worth keeping. |
