Don’t know if it’s because you’re too lazy to time the lines, so you wait for someone to do it and then use some python script to OCR the lines and get the timing or someting… but glad if it motivates you to procrastinate less, lol.

Es curioso que lo publiques el viernes por la mañana cuando alguien lo sube primero, y el sábado/domingo cuando nadie lo hace.

No sé si es porque te da pereza cronometrar las líneas, así que esperas a que alguien lo haga y luego usas algún script de python para hacer el OCR de las líneas y obtener el timing o algo así… pero me alegro de que te motive a procrastinar menos, lol.

Shit timing only lasts a minute and the only spelling mistake I noticed is “Shadowss” tho.
Won’t be v2ing because SlyFox will release anyways.

0:00:38:81 - Hiroko (should be Hiruko)

OP subs are 10s too early

This one is subjective, but Swampman could be “Swamp Man” to keep it consistent with SlyFox

0:07:19.72 - The part about small image isn’t said in anime dialogue (it’s only “At first, I didn’t notice”), but this is also purely subjective and this TL can be left as is

Several moments (around 9:03, 9:15, 10:06, 11:09 and 11:14) are missing signs

0:09:24.72 - Shadowss

0:09:28.23 - Nitto Shrine (should be Hito Shrine)

0:09:30.73 - this line’s quite long, and the japanese dialogue doesn’t specify the shrine part, so “of the shrine” can be removed

0:19:22.28 - shide (should be Shide)

Edit: Shouldn’t the next episode title be “Made in Black” instead of “Maid in Black”?

The Nitto Shrine that honors her would be very sus.

I’ve extracted the sub file and made the edits as per the comments by @truello (except the “10s too early” thing, couldn’t find where that happens because I haven’t actually watched it yet and couldn’t find it during a quick scan at roughly one minute intervals).

Mostly did this for myself, but if it’ll make anyone else happy, here you go:

Note: I’m basically a complete noob at this stuff who occasionally uses Aegisub to do some minor fixes, so don’t hate me for timing, placement or whatever.

For timing changes you can select all of OP subs and go to Timing > Shift Times… , in Affect part select “Selected rows”, in ‘Shift by’ type how much to shift the subs and in which direction (in this case, 0:00:10.00 Forward) and click OK

I’m just watching it now. The subs appear to be timed correctly for me (with the file from my previous comment). I checked the sub file too and it seems fine. For example, the first line of text (“In 1732, during the Great Kyoho Famine,”) starts at 0:00:01.65 and ends at 0:00:05.49 per the sub file, which matches the video.

If I make the change you suggested, they become desynced from the video and are too late (by 10s, as expected).

Perhaps you’ve accidentally enabled a negative delay in your player? I checked mine there to be sure I don’t have any delay on that might have already corrected it, but mine is set at 0ms (no delay).
