Hello, Digimaniacs!

What you’re looking at is super experimental. I’ve decided to do one episode and gauge interest and perhaps see whether or not I can even acquire some financial assistance, seeing as how the dub streams are very expensive, especially given the circumstances. But I’ve at least done 1 and I’m looking to do the 13 from Vol. 01 soon enough.

Allow me to explain how to explain how everything is set up here, and after you’ve looked at it yourself, you can be the judge:

I’ve recorded the dub off of Microsoft Movies and TV via Xbox One with a Blackmagic capture card. I record the audio in Dolby Digital to get the audio as close to the original stream as possible.

Then, I cut the audio ever so slightly for it to sync to the Japanese Blu-ray. I’ve also slightly modified the volume levels so that there’s virtually no difference between the English and the Japanese audio. Ergo, when you change audio tracks on a high volume, you don’t get a blast of volume from the other track.

I’ve also re-timed the Crunchyroll translation track accordingly. For those of you who are fans of closed captioning, known in this case as dubtitles, I unfortunately have no way of obtaining a track for that, so I am sorry, but that’s on Toei, quite frankly.

Any questions or comments are strongly encouraged! Otherwise, please enjoy!

So, as I re-timed the subtitle track, it seems as though Aegisub botched the formatting of the OP and ED captions in the process. My apologies, the further releases will not be like that.

Also, if anyone has any suggestions as to how to efficiently re-time the captions while retaining the formatting of them, I’d really appreciate it.

well, if anything you think you could do a batch of the BD versions of the original episodes of the Japanese audio with English subs only, although all the episodes were released in dubbed this month right? Also, it seems the English dubbed for the songs seem to alter the meaning from the originals; kind of like from the Dragon Ball series, though it least kept in the length like in the original.
Perhaps you could at least released the dubbed versions in a batch like in 720p format if a dual audio in BD is too much a hassle for now.

@kaiserstar1, At first I thought that you wanted me to release a non-English dub release just for the heck of it, which is what I was confused by, but I think I understand now.

The issue is not the work involved. I’m sure I can figure something out. The only thing that may take time, depending on circumstances is how soon I can purchase all 67 episodes that are available.

Nevertheless, I don’t see the point in doing 2 workloads. The main reason I decided to work on this was to make the dub available to people.

But I do agree with you about the lyrics to the songs being altered, that’s BS.
