candy candy 1976 blu-ray volume 1 is out, can you please share the mexican version as well.

I remember watching this back in the day with fansubs. Nostalgia hits hard.

It seem that the series was never released on DVD in Japan.
I bought the Taiwanese DVD box Set released in 2007.
Not an incredible translation but the only complete English subtitled complete version.

And I receive my Lovely Complexe Blu Ray today also.
Great shoujo.

I have the old dvd set of this series, while it was kind of a fun show to watch the first time-not so much the second time.

@zrdb, sadly there are many, many shows that fit your description. Really, the only reason to keep a copy of such shows is so that you can check before making the mistake of trying to watch them again. All shows seem to have their fans who want bigger and better versions. With this one personally, I didn’t even make it through the first time, but there are many people who absolutely love it. Ehh, there is no accounting for taste! As the saying goes, “one man’s meat is another man’s poison”!!

It’s not as bad as I thought it would be but an upscale remains an upscale, it’s not good, I’ll stick to the DVD with washed out colors, it’s better, thanks for sharing the BDMV tho
Also what is it with people stretching the image to fill a conventional ratio instead of just cropping the bad pixels? I guess it doesn’t matter in this case for an upscale
