From washed:

Kiriyama best girl

CR video, AMZN audio via ToonsHub. Subs are TLC’ed (lazy pass btw), retimed, and restyled CR with songs and a separate weeb track (plus countless fixed line breaks). Don’t expect too much in the way of edits; I don’t plan on extensive script changes (not Giji Harem level at least), so I should be releasing before the following week’s episode comes out.

About typesetting: Everyone who watched the official subs knows the TS is in a bad state. I fixed the horrific dialogue overlap, removed all \an8 signs, and borrowed signs from the Italian and German subs. I made some minor improvements on those signs, but for future episodes I probably won’t change much if anything at all. It’s not great, but it’s better than what the English prosubs have going on imo. If anyone is interested in working on TS, feel free to let me know on Discord; I’m not proactively searching, but it’d definitely boost the quality of this release.

About songs: Song TL (or editing, really) is hard. This is my first OTL so cut me some slack. Styling will most likely change after I see the OP/ED animation.

About honorifics: Weeb track uses Japanese name order and honorifics, regular uses Western name order and no honorifics with the exception of -senpai. Nicknames (e.g. Sacchan, Makki) are not localized in either track.

Should be it for the description yap. See you next week!

senpai is literally untranslatable according to aniplex

tbf, for cases where a character is explicitly referring to another character as a “senpai”, it’s best to keep that word as-is. maybe some exception must be made when the former doesn’t know the latter’s name.

but for cases when a character refers to a group of people or people with higher job positions than what another character has, translating “senpai” may be a good idea, i feel.
