Just because there didn’t seem to be an easily available 1080p version of Initial D First Stage with eng subs.
Things done:
Removed French FLAC audio and vobsubs
Muxed in English srt subs from source #2
Set English srt subs as default
Applied -700ms timing adjustment to subs
Set Japanese audio DTS-HD 5.1 sound as default
Renamed all files consistently and added crc32 checksums
All credit goes to original release creators.
Is it worth it?
No idea. Probably not - this is an extra 20Gb for a negligible increase in picture quality over the low definition release.

THANK YOU! Forget about the large capacity. Will you continue to do this until Final Stage, 3rd stage movie, Extra Stage and Extra Stage 2, Legend 1 - 3 and Initial D Movie? Still the same 5.1 Flac Audio, English Sub Title and Japanese Audio as default! |

I wouldn’t mind doing that actually, but don’t have the video sources to work with. Otherwise I’d continue remuxing as I watch them into the same format [“best” 1080p video and sound available, Jpn language, Eng subs, minor tweaks as needed]. Can someone point me towards high quality video/audio sources? |
