As soon as this site loads it redirects. I wouldn't go there for now

Unless someone else is mirroring the content to newsgroups. Aninzb has started, hopefully it will continue.

This already looks promising for such an early version. Really appreciate the NZB mirroring for direct downloads!

I will say, things are not hosted all on one server as is. I won't say much more about my architecture other than that.

As for ads, you will NEVER see ads on my site. Even with ad blockers off - there shall be no ads!

Subtitles are already there for things I have been able to do myself (only the last week). I'll try and get a back fill of subtitles for these. If admin does release a full batch of his, I'll definitely carry them over (same with screenshots too).

Audio extracts though... I'm mixed on it... It would be nice, but I feel like I am walking a fine line. It's something I may do down the rode though. We'll see.

Sorry, unfortunately, I won't be uploading to hosters. I have zero plans to do. I won't say "never", but for now, it's not something I'm looking at.  :(

Believe it or not, it costs me nothing to upload these links. I just want to help people here that's all. Thanks for the comment anyway.
OK. And it is super EZ for me to run a script to set up things the way I want it. I don't see your point as to how I do things.
You do you and I will do me.

Will there be a seperate storage for extracted subtitles and stuff?

Maybe you can use ads for server costs. I'm okay with ads as long as they aren't too intrusive or redirect-happy (hate those redirect ads)

Thanks for maintaining this website.
Please note that when two strangers argue about something silly, most who are exposed to it have a very difficult time figuring out which one is the idiot.

Truth nuke here.
"- if you're not a technical person, you don't actually need to "mux" anything. You can just download the subtitle files from anywhere (including here), and put them in the same directory with the same filename, and your media player will find and use them.

Yes, to a degree. You will still have to tell your player which sub files to play for each ep unless you mux and or change the header defaults.
Well I have well over 100tb of local storage, all bought on sale. I have a seedbox with 1.5tb that costs me about $20 USD per month plus it gives me a VPN for free.

That doesn't answer your question but for the owner to just turn over this site would leave him with the legal liabilities.
and to actually contribute something:

- if you're not a technical person, you don't actually need to "mux" anything. You can just download the subtitle files from anywhere (including here), and put them in the same directory with the same filename, and your media player will find and use them.

i,e:
-magical_princess_natural_lychee_01[lazyraw].mp4
magical_princess_natural_lychee_01[lazyraw].ass

Obviously this doesn't work for literally every media player on every platform ever, but it works for all the commonly used ones. A lot of players also understand multiple extensions, i.e.:

magical_princess_natural_lychee_01[lazyraw].mp4
magical_princess_natural_lychee_01[lazyraw].finno-swedish.mp4
Anyone who's made the "storage space" argument: do you actually know how much it costs/doesn't cost? Everywhere in the anime/anime-adjacent sphere, there's people commenting on someone else's webserver about how they'd be better using their own webserver's storage: do you guys have some way of getting better insights than the actual owner?
Genuinely curious.
To all the people who expect to be spoon-fed everything and are never satisfied with anything:
I want to see u irl, when a free charity event is held near your neighborhood, where they give away free games, movies, tv shows and anime and everything else, where u just have to go there and pick up whatever u want without anyone bothering u, not even needing to fill out a form or even leave a thanks, EVERYTHING FOR FREE, AND GIVEN TO U WITH THEIR OWN MONEY... but instead of going there like any other person in the neighborhood or city or world, instead of going and picking up whatever u want for free without having to pay a single cent or even give anything in exchange... YOU decide to use the online chat, shown worldwide and publicly on the billboards around the charity place and the city and YOU CALMLY AND GENTLY ASK as if u were Dumbledore in HP... "WHY THE FUCK DON'T U HAVE A FREE HOME DELIVERY OPTION WITH A WORKER THAT COMES TO SET UP SUCH THINGS TO BE PLAYED ON MY TV AND MY DEVICES AND WHY DON'T U ALSO INCLUDE AT LEAST A MCDONALD'S ORDER INCLUDING TWO NUMBER NINES, A NUMBER NINE LARGE, A NUMBER SIX WITH EXTRA DIP, A NUMBER SEVEN, TWO NUMBER 45S (ONE WITH CHEESE) AND A LARGE SODA, AND ALSO SOME CHAMPAGNE AND 40 GRAMS OF WEED? YOU UNGRATEFUL THINGS!"

Since I can't use torrents and can only DDL, I really hope an alternative or successor DDL site to Anime Tosho will appear.

" Your words! Not mine!"

Wrong! It was you who stated "Mini encoders tend to spend more time writing descriptions and comments than making good encodes."  All the AV1 encodes I've noticed are minis.

" Your releases are mostly mini encodes and barely seeded."

MCR hasn't released anything in about what 6 or 7 years? Having seeds that long is pretty good in my opinion. I bet anything you released didn't last that long or are you just bloviating because they are minis?

That explains all the AV1 releasers these days. See what you did? You insulted several current groups.

This isn't Burger King. Why should a group go out of their way to appease 1 person?
That's asking a lot considering time and storage space for 1 person.
