The most likely explanation is that it the source was interpolated then decimated to keep the interpolated frames in favor of their reference and maintain a 24000/1001 frame rate.

I think it's clear that the torrent is interpolated and you're just doubling down. I won't even comment on the subtitles because those are 100% Godless-Subs (I originally watched the show with those subs). So please rid the site of the blight that this release is.
