This is Re-encoded by Deadfish & not animetosho. they just get fetch it & create DDL links for people who don't like using torrent. asking to make a smaller version won't do you any good.

wait.. what's that? boku no pico. [goes on a search. lol]
I would assume they're using a periodic backup (eg make a copy of the database every day or few days). To minimise loss, they'd have to use a continuous backup solution (or just increase the frequency of their periodic backups). I wouldn't consider them enterprise level, and in fact, for them, I doubt it's much of a loss anyway - they just miss a few days' worth of submissions is all.
1. In Firefox, idm requires an extension/add-on to be installed in order to function automatically as an integrated part of the browser. Occasionally, when Firefox updates itself some of these extensions/add-ons are disabled as incompatible until they are upgraded. I expect something similar is probably true in Chrome.
2. IDM is not free but share-ware. After 30 days it partially or completely disables itself on some systems is my understanding. Could that be the problem? If yes and you don't want to pay, consider jdownloader or FreeDownload Manager.
Thanks for the explanation. I think I get it now. But what ancient OS are they using anyways, or don't they know how to use it? A big chunk of modern net/os systems at the enterprise level deal with precisely the issue of integrating backups and subsequent data without overwrites or loss. Businesses couldn't tolerate it.
If I assume TT is being run out of some kid's house on a server located under the kid's bed using money from his paper route, I guess I would chill out and be thankful for whatever works whenever it does. So I will assume that. And in that case, it's rather a remarkable achievement! Thanks Sweden, you're amazing!
TokyoTosho have been having hard drive crashes, and they've been working around this by simply rolling back to an old backup. This means that they lose, in this case permanently, everything that was submitted after the backup they restored. If I wanted a perfect sync, I would also delete everything in line with how they've rolled back, but I'm unwilling to do this. The problem is that IDs of items are meant to never duplicate, however, since they've rolled back, their last ID has also been rolled back, causing new uploaded stuff to overwrite old IDs (that no longer exist).
MF is popular, so in case that's the one you had trouble with: 1. Upgrade to latest 7zip to unpack the file. Their address is www.7-zip.org It's open-source, free, and ad-free. 2. Try a re-download. Corruption in transmission can happen. 3. Try running it from a directory near the root of your drive. All versions of Windows have limits on path names (folders plus file name) and give non-specific errors when you get near that limit. 4. If your source was NOT mediafire, try another download service.
I just downloaded, unpacked and watched the mediafire version. Nothing wrong with that one. I hadn't watched Naruto in a while. They actually advance story lines now!
BD looks terrible, banding everywhere, and they're pretty bad that to remove it completely I'd have to smooth out all details, and scene-filtering won't work since like 80% of the video is filled with banding. So I took the half-assed approach, banding is attenuated without having much details smoothed out. Also, some people may say it's not worth 1080p, and I agree, but it's easier to encode it and make it look good if I left it as 1080p.
No FLAC, it's bloat. I will only use lossless audio if the lossless audio is smaller than 15% of the resulting filesize, give or take. The lossless audio is ~230MB, so no. You won't hear the difference anyway.
English subtitles taken from Commie, re-TLC'ed, fine re-timed, reedited, with some typesetting changes including using motion tracking where applicable. Basically improved, I think.
Indonesian subtitles are there just for the sake of it. It's just translating the English subs and there it is. If they're bad, deal with them, or just switch to the English subs.
Video: 1920x1080 H.264 10-bit Audio: Japanese 2.0 Vorbis Subtitles 1: English Subtitles (modified Commie) Subtitles 2: Indonesian Subtitles (translation from subtitles 1)
This release features multiple editions, which in this case, allows you to switch between the standard opening/ending and the creditless versions. To use this feature, make sure you have the NCOP and NCED files in the same directory as the episode file. Read here for more info.
hey admin, i see that you uploaded doki's dog days and it's from TT so will you be able to get tari tari or is it just tari tari that is causing the problem? thanks
Here's what admin posted elsewhere about Doki: ----------------------------- Posted by Anonymous, Yesterday 14:08 admin, plz get 720p ver. thanks :) ---------------------- Reply Posted by admin, Yesterday 21:23 Can't do due to TokyoTosho ID conflict unfortunately. ----------------------------- Could be the same here. I don't understand except the "can't do" part. Since Doki has a lifetime ban from Nyaa (interesting story) I don't know where else to pick up links, as Doki isn't providing any right now. Maybe that Chaut-thingy?
It's because "hard coded" subtitles that are in .mp4 and .avi files are actually encoded into the video files, while most subtitles in .MKV containers are "soft subs", they are just rendered on top of the video file by software, not actually in the video file itself. So when they re-encode the video, if it is "hard coded" subtitles, it will show up, but whatever software they are using to re-encode the files doesn't look for soft coded subtitles, so they disappear once it is re-encoded.
I got both files from here. It could be my download manager (IDM), as it had corrupted some images the day I got this episode. I thought nothing of it because IDM always corrupted images if I set connections to 2 or higher. Thanks for confirming this :)
I tought if they re-encode MKV to mobile format the subs dissapear, but Hardsubbed subtitles like that of MP4 and AVI are still there in mobile version..??
I just tried and it worked fine for me, so: 1. Error in transmission. Re-try. And/or 2. Upgrade to newest stable version of 7zip at www.7-zip.org If you're running a 64-bit OS like Win7, be sure to get the 64-bit version. 3. You wouldn't have mixed a part1 and part2 from different services? That doesn't work.
I'm pretty sure PutLocker does re-encode files, and you have to have an account to even download their re-encoded files, and a premium account to download the original files. It says in their comparison between free and premium users, "Downloading Originals:
No" So, I really don't think there is a point in using PutLocker anymore if you need a premium account to download the originals, and their "mobile" versions don't even have subs.
Thanks for the clarification. So despite being lumped together here at AT: S1: Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu, 12 eps S2: Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu - Purezza, 12 eps OVA: Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu - Finale, 4 eps Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu - The Afterlife (Just planning ahead)
Of course, any real fan would know what "purezza" means, but like AniDB and Wiki would consider it too obvious to mention... (any real fan out there can to mention?)
The genius of episode titles should not be overlooked. In S2: ep2 "Please put it in"; ep3 "Ah, It hurts", "It feels good" "It might have gone in" etc. None of which have anything to do with sex, of course.
