It seems that sometimes this comment section is more like a chat room.
It doesn't help the uploader or the downloader... just some random people needing attention. And spoilers are bad and can't always be filtered.

I'm making a general statement about the quality of fansub encodes. As for sneedex it's just a general purpose tool. If you're hyper fixated on the little girls in the show I don't think this is the best place to talk about it.

fansub releases usually have good video while maintaining reasonable file sizes especially from trusted uploaders so if you have enough space on your drive i suggest you download this one.

Nobody is talking about adding detail, you can simply make it out of thin air. Good encoders will try to keep the source's detail while removing any compression artifacts in it, producing a better than source result, with all the detail and none (or very little) of it's flaws

Most encodes aren't filtered, I think you're mixing up stuff.

Encoded videos are usually better than web-dls because they are filtered

if you cant really notice the differences between those two (as you mentioned above) just pick the size that you're most comfortable with

You have the choice to click on the anidb link if you want to, it's not forced on you.

You have a point, though I would be surprised you don't at least read a synopsys/description of a show before download and this kind of discution is somewhat of an exception. I don't think there's anything over show summary here if you view show page here. Having to click "more/show" for each comment would become quite aggravating...

New voice: To some extent, all content discussions are spoilers.  You auto-cover half the preview pictures to prevent spoilers, would you be willing to do the same with comments?  Allow 5 words then the reader has to choose to see the rest of a comment.  After all, it's a shame to have unavoidable spoilers for those looking to download a show.

yes it should be quite the improvement compared to the files you seem to download, as this uses transparent encode settings and is filtered.
