It's because the "raws" for the uncensored show come from a distributor that hard-subs them and the ones floating around are in French. Throwing a bar over the French subs is the cheap way to hide them.

Any better outcome requires Srs Magic combining the uncensored bits with the soft-subbed censored version of the show which not everyone is up to doing.

I finally watched the Violence Jack movies. Best way to describe it is its like if the Road Warrior Mad Max movie series was rated X.

Outside of Nyaa finding things that have been kept seeded is difficult. This torrent wouldn't be allowed on Nyaa as it's an upscale and breaks site rules. I can't speak for the quality of the upscale itself, though.

On the whole public torrent users are smash & grab and it's up to a few more determined individuals to keep things alive.

All this said, since I am an idiot who pays for Usenet, I'll DL this and seed it for you.
