I think you're totally missing the point of the first post.
I doubt reactor necessarily missed anything - they're just trying to point out to others who may have made assumptions on "DUAL". People make assumptions all the time because they don't necessarily have the time to investigate everything up front, so clarifying statements can be helpful to those.

I made two assumptions: due to a lack of qc s1 ended up with no japanese audio or "mao"'s player is unable to switch audio tracks. It's not that deep.

How would switching players magically fix these "no QC encodes?"

How do you know these encoders have no QC? Season 1 actually does have Japanese audio, so there are no QC errors on this release.
