Actually, CR had issues with bow their streams where updated and ended up broken on some API's and endpoints. Which would  make the correct subs show on PC but not on other platforms. Erai used a different source for the subs.

Subsplease did do a new v2 and didn't just rename the original. Not that you would know.

Yes, I'm sure. Also, if you look at these files closely you'll actually find that these are the *exact* same files that SubsPlease already uploaded down to the last bit. They literally reuploaded their v1 files, but simply labelled as v2.

The English subs *are* fixed by CR. No clue how SubsPlease fucked this up, but Erai was able to get the correct subs, so this isn't (entirely) on CR.

I did like ToonsHub and VARYG only when HiDIVE release their anime series since Yameii stop releasing them and focus only on CR.

I'm not all that privy to which version of MPV to use. The one I downloaded didn't come with a UI like VLC where I can change any settings like subtitles or audio. It's the one where it says "Drag and Drop File to Play". That turned me off from using it. Is there an version you would recommend that has those things?
