it would be helpful if you put multiple little files together using 7z like in https://animetosho.torrentbay.st/file/neodesu-du...65.1272331 that you still provide hashes of every single file so you can check them like against vt ( https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/43...53/details forexample). If you only show the hash of your own created 7z files it is just a reference to your own work not the original ones, meaning i doubt i could get the same hash if i would run 7z on the same files..

The only time I see that is when I've paused the player long enough for my storage hdd to go to sleep mode and it is spinning up. Doesn't happen on my SSD.

Fine, but I haven't run across a video or audio codec that my VLC won't play. It's not like new codecs come out every other week. Updates to the codec yes but it won't cripple VLC from playing. What was the last new codec, AV1? That was long ago and VLC plays it fine.

MPC is old (20+ yrs) MPV is also old 11+ years. VLC gets updates also, not every 2 weeks but once or twice, maybe more a year. So, don't give me that old software garbage.

VLC plays anything I throw at it. The only issue I might have is over-bloated sub files that crop up (not very often). Except for the bloated subs if VLC won't play it neither will the other 2 players I have. If VLC won't play it for you then it is either an out-dated version or you comp/phone is a real potato.
