True and the reason why they don't....

"Crunchyroll can't really do opening/ending subs due to copyright law regarding lyrics translation. In order to subtitle a song legally you have to get permission and then the author/owner of the Japanese lyrics has to personally check and approve the English lyrics. If he/she says no, then you can't sub the song. If changes need to be made then the lyrics have to be resubmitted and approved again. All of this takes too much time for a simulcast.

The few shows I have seen with subtitled opening/ending songs took about 8-10 weeks to get the opening/ending subs up."

"In addition to licensing shows, we have to license the songs that play both during the opening and ending credits. Being allowed to play them is one thing, being allowed to translate them is an entirely separate issue."

Maybe I'm out of touch, but I had the idea that they were more of a power user thing.

The feed URL is published in the meta tag - too bad browsers don't seem to often display these any more.
I think Opera still shows the feed icon in the address bar, though I currently don't have the latest version.
Firefox used to, then they removed the icon at some point. You can still view feeds via right-click (somewhere on the page) -> View Page Info -> Feeds.
I don't think I've ever seen it in Chrome, and I can't seem to find any such option in it.
I've got no clue what IE or Safari do.

Perhaps there's plugins around to add the feed icon to the address bar for Firefox/Chrome.

What I do is add group names to the "Listing Blacklist" section in my account settings (e.g. DeadFish).

Oh, and since most remakes are in mp4 format, you can also add the term ".mp4". In my case, I also added ".avi" cause I only want mkv files.
