This fuc-ed up cliché of War on Terror animation shows how Western/US propaganda has cemented into Japanese belief system. Japan, sadly, has almost no autonomy on foreign affairs and is an absolute follower of US in global issues :(

Yeah, it's the lowest effort stuff I've ever seen. Uncropped, incorrect aspect ratio, incorrect frame rate, full of combing artifacts. Not to mention the lack of encoder settings in the mediainfo.

There is a black border.
It's what E-D does, no further announcements required.
It's a DVD rip by ED of course it's only 480p, are you retarded?

TokyoTosho is where all the slop garbage from people who don't know what they're doing goes. Honestly I would be in favor of removing TT as a fetch source and just leaving Nyaa.

Looks like an upscale, and not good one.
link to Nyaa alredy dead, 404 Not Found, wonder why!
Incomplete....
Wrong, I checked out the screenshots and it is the real deal. I've had this show for years. The bunny is a sidekick.
that's a bunny not a cat which means fake
where do we download those?
As per policy, re-posts aren't processed.
Yes, the uploader decided to hide the old entry, presumably as this is its replacement.
why did this get skipped?

This looks like shit.
For whatever reason, that one got flagged as Deleted and doesn't show up in the series index.
I doubt sub would be much better though. All the upbeat music kills it
Just my review if anyone interested.
As 45+ year Gundam fan Im not really impressed after 1st episode. Maybe it will get better.
Instead if dark and somber like most of the best gundam series this first episode is starting like its trying to be hip and cool and has a lot of stupid upbeat music.
I watch both sub and dub but might rewatch this in sub. Dub is horrendous.
Almost all of the dub actors are terrible in this. Not sure if Amazon hired them or not but whoever they hide for English audio went cheap.

Sorry about that. Still trying to figure out what's causing the host to not like the CPU usage.
This was already processed. From a quick glance, this version just looks like a slightly different English audio track was used.

"A 35mm film frame, when scanned to capture the maximum detail, is roughly equivalent to a digital image with around 20 million pixels."

What are you trying to say? film capabilities from today vs film from the 50`s through 80s. No clue what you are eluding to. Makes no sense. If what you are saying was the standard for all film then even media from the 50s would already be in 4k quality minimum. Try again

> I only did that because you are unreasonable. No matter what I posted even if the answer was from a professional you would've disagreed. Ai chat bot is neutral. I made my point. You can argue with Ai. Maybe you get your answers from Social media. Its a last resort for me if I cant find answers elsewhere. I prefer to actually research for answers. Just believing something is so doesn't always make it so.

the fact that you are doubling down on being so wrong is genuinely embarrassing. you would earn more respect if you owned up to the fact that you are completely wrong

Nice troll response. I'm positive this is Luxury now.

1. An answer from a professional would agree with everyone else in this thread telling you that you are full of shit.

2. AI chatbot is not "neutral". They all have implicit biases based on their training data. Also, you worded the question to it incorrectly.

3. Actually, I get my answers from research from people who know what the fuck they are talking about. Clearly, you don't do research because the most surface-level, basic research would tell you that your understanding of physical film and digital transfers is fundamentally incorrect.

> Yes, digitizing a film to a higher resolution can be considered an upscale, as it's essentially increasing the number of pixels in the digital image compared to the original film's inherent resolution.

Wrong, if using the film as a source for the scans.

1920X1080p is about 2 million pixels.

Lmfao

How about you ask it "Is scanning a 35mm film to a high resolution like 2K or 4K considered an upscale?" and share the results with us instead of your intentionally wrong question to it?

That's cute you had to get a fucking chatbot to write a hallucinated incorrect answer that agrees with you, because you couldn't respond in your own words.

Film doesn't have a "resolution" since film is more like your eye sight because it isn't scanned lines of information. You can scan a film at any resolution you want or are able to (hence the 4K BD releases of old films).
Decades back TV shows were recorded on video tape with basically a 480p res so anything higher from those sources are upscales.
Using a DVD as a source you are limited to about 480p, anything higher is an upscale.
