Your Welcome.  Bullit Sect Subs are unique where we attempt to cover the Chinese pinyin characters with Larger more readable text on bigger screens.  It works quite well with certain fonts.  Rather than putting smaller characters underneath pinyin - I find it easier to watch but its a personal choice.  <1% of the pinyin shows through in my best estimates.. I think best thing is to try about 3-4 episodes and your eyes adjust.  Once eyes adjust it flows quite well.  Just my suggestion for anyone DLing this.  Its certainly worth a try.

No, the Arabic subs are from some fansub. If it was Crunchyroll it would be just regular subs like the other languages, and I wouldn't be asking about it. I'm looking for Arabic subs for Naruto Shippuden 432-479 (unseeded on nyaa.si) and I wanted to get the source of the Arabic Boruto subs so I could see if it also had Naruto Shippuden subs.

I certainly wouldn't say colors look better on the source R2J DVD. This one like many others have a colorspace calibration tending too much towards green. The listed "mumbo-jumbo" process imply some color correction. I will eventually do some other comparisons, was tired like Misaki in that frame when I was making the prez.

1. This is actually a moded bicubic, but indeed spline could give better results in some cases. I usually test both, but overall, I end up using bicubic for most encodes. I don't like lancosz based resizers thought.
2. The very slight color shift you can observe here results from the 10bit depth enconding while source is 8bit. When I list mumbo-jumbo as a filtering process, color correction is part of it and you'll observe a more noticiable color shift.
3. AVS+ is very impressive, I use this frameserver for many years and have solid knowledge of avisynth filters (wich are still maintained by a wonderful community, actually). I really wouldn't bother to shift for vapoursynth as I can't think of any advantage it could offer over avs+. Differents filters, yes, but there are also filters that are very unique to avisynth. And it's absolutly MT compatible. I have 16c/32t cpu and in this exemple I use 16 threads for the entire frameserver filtering pipeline and leave the 16 others free for the actual x264 encoding.
