What a terrible day to be literate. Spend your time more reading and less whining. Here : https://animetosho.torrentbay.st/about/shutdown

All this work you've done preserving stuff for 15 years and it'll be lost to time in just one month. GG.

Thanks a lot to the admin for running this site for such a long time.

I found a lot of older series here that could not be found elsewhere. Except for the DVD version of Happiness from ray=out. The torrent (https://www.tokyotosho.info/details.php?id=515364) is dead and there are some old listings on animetosho: https://animetosho.torrentbay.st/series/happiness.4594
Does anyone know if there is still a working download available for this anime?

Thank you, we need to educate these frauds. Also Shiru is better than Hayase.

Fixed now, thanks.
I've thought about it more thanks to the second comment from RaptoR and this seems to be not AMZN English audio indeed, but a re-encode of the NF AAC audio (no other source for the dubs). This repack was a downgrade in that regard 😭

Thank you to everyone for your explanations, this is certainly a valuable learning experience. I'll try to be more mindful of my WEB audio sources going forward. I'll go update my descriptions and hide the worse audio from the MEGA folder.

I think all BD-rip are good. Devil may be in the english subtitles, because not all subber could agree on a single phrase during the Weezer scene in ep8 and that led to a flame war on Reddit. Don't believe that GBC is a drama, it's a comedy or "dramedy" at best, viewers ROFL.
Actually EP11 had the issue. Now has a v2
They are not. The sources they all linked which supposudely use Amazon Audio mention nothing about it, other than using Netflix.
Wrong series, 29-sai is the one that was broken.
Netflix has the international distribution rights so it's only on Netflix outside of Japan

Being on Amazon and D+ in Japan isn't uncommon for a show like this that is airing on TV and isn't a Netflix original production but just something they've licensed
The show isn't streaming on Amazon outside of Japan so your audio source almost certainly converted the AAC audio from Netflix into EAC3

It's also worth mentioning that Netflix owns the rights to their dubs (as we've seen with some of their titles published by Sentai that has seperate dubs) and aren't gonna license them out to a competitor like Amazon
Originally, I didn't even think to check for that for a Netflix show, which are usually exclusively on Netflix/NF when it comes to the dubs, but it seems like this one has dual-audio Amazon/AMZN rips as well. Not on Nyaa or even AnimeBytes, but somewhere out there, as well as secondhand from the Nyaa/AB AV1 release I linked in the Sources section. I fixed all of their issues with the English audio and replaced Netflix's English AACs in my remux.

PS. The show can also be sourced from Disney+/DSNP, so it's definitely not *only* on Netflix/NF.
This isn't in English subs for anyone looking for English subs..

There are no comments on Nyaa for this one or for why a v2 was made so thanks for the heads up.
No shit, Sherlock. You're only a few hours too late. So late even that Erai has already released a v2 prior to you even commenting. Good job!
No English subtitles at all
29 grind and this anime, Arabic
Not Farsi, but Arabic - if you look at Judas's release (which includes all of the languages), the English and Arabic subtitle streams are identical. In other words, Crunchyroll screwed up yet again.
Which release is better, this release or https://animetosho.torrentbay.st/view/akinasu-gi....n2060249?
the latter is slightly large in size by 5GB... umm
Subtitles in ?farsi?, not english
Looks like CR screwed up and marked the Arabic subs as English - several other releases have the same problem.
Subs are in Arabic script (dunno language tho).
How are you getting Amazon dub audio for a show that's exclusively streaming on Netflix

Thank you admin. I really appreciate all the hard work you've done to the site; it's been a joy for me to use this site for over a decade and I'm deeply saddened to see it end. I hope some one else can take up the mantle.

I remember finding this site years ago while looking for subtitles for an old anime and was shocked that a site was so convenient and well designed for many things that I've been lurking here for years now. I've been into anime for over forty years and I can't think of a site I've used as long as Anime Tosho. The next closest was probably Anime Take which iirc was killed off around the same time as you started and i only used that for like eighteen months.

Anyway, I wish you all the best and once again thank you.
