"Yeah, when moving music from a CD to HDD/SSD you lose audio quality."
If you need 600 bucks to keep things running, you obviously doing it wrong.
But your opinion is wrong, tho. You can't really say you respect one's opinion when whatever you say is simply wrong. lmao. It's something called talking out of your ass.
AnimeTosho requires 0 dollars from users to keep this site running and Admin never asked for donations either. What's your point?
lmao Erai needs 660 euro's A MONTH to keep their things running. Idiots.
That's the principle of going Lossless to Lossy : Even with the highest bitrate, there'll always be some degrees of losses, whether you can hear it or not.

While going from Lossy to Lossless, there won't be any. That's why I don't think "this" is that stupid.

Also, when I talked about mini releasers, I meant that they often do very low bitrate AAC/OPUS from FLAC BD sources.... Which is worse than what this guy did.

But I respect your opinion 🤙🏻
This one got borked from the torrent title, probably goes over: ~/series/dungeon-ni-deai-o-motomeru-no-wa-machigatte.18267

Thanks!
It is clear that you do not kwon what you are talking about. The question was "AAC (Lossy) => FLAC (Lossless)" bigger file. Please provide evidence of what you said.

Who groups two completely random OVAs together like this?
my Dayze the beauty n Love of this ANIME! truly legendary... use to watch this as a kid with my uncle - completely forgot but when i revisited by chance there was PURE nostalgia... honestly a True Masterpiece- thanks whoever u are upping n seeding u LEGENDS!... hillariously my friend use to fall asleep to this while i watched through the night.. she has such fond memories that now even though the hwoaRRRRR papapapapapa - U dont even know u are already dead scenes etc -she still finds this totally soothing...cannot express how damn iconic this anime is lols!
> This release will be discontinued from next month unless a Donator backs it up.

Imagine begging for money to steal from streaming services.
It does because the audio file is decoded as a raw stream and then recompressed, just losslessly this time. Will still be much smaller than PCM -> FLAC, but the filesize is expected. Fire up ffmpeg yourself and give it a try.
> This release will be discontinued from next month unless a Donator backs it up.

Erai and Trix are also covering Medalist, so there isn't much bargaining power in that.
Thanks for all the help.
The BD has TrueHD audio so they did convert the audio but Luxury is talking out his ass as usual since this release doesn't use audio that's converted from AAC to FLAC

It's lossless to lossless conversion
All this talk about audio choices and absolutely ZERO abx tests are being performed.
AAC (Lossy) => FLAC (Lossless) : Quality's the same, but the file size is boosted for no actual gain.???? Can you provide evidence of this??? Because from academic point of view AAC removes inaudible or less perceptible audio information to reduce file size. FLAC means that no audio data is discarded during the compression process. SO if data was lost in ACC and then converted to FLAC it would NOT "file size is boosted".

Also what are "mini releasers" ??? Are these files encoded with x265??? If so provide evidence that x264 is better.
First of in the description there is "5.1 English Audio Source: Zanros@U2 (USBD)" so he didn't convert shit. Second you made releases with "enhanced audio" which was you raping it and actively making it worse, so you're the last person who should ever talk about audio.
In theory, going from FLAC to AAC will technically reduce the quality.

In practice, if you use a high enough bitrate, you're never going to notice the difference unless you're an audiophile and/or you're playing it on extremely high-tech equipment.

A lot of the people who complain that AAC is worse than FLAC are probably the same ones who prefer vinyl phonograph records over compact discs (even before the Loudness War was a thing).
Exactly. You can say that again. Also, ignore the comment above me. They're just trolling.
I've got some apps that don't work with AAC, got to convert them to WAV/FLAC, so for compatibility purposes, it wouldn't be stupid to do it.

As for the conversion itself :

- AAC (Lossy) => FLAC (Lossless) : Quality's the same, but the file size is boosted for no actual gain.
- FLAC (Lossless) => AAC (Lossy) : Quality's worse, but the file size is reduced.

Most mini releasers go with the 2nd scenario (BD source), and would deserve to be called "idiots" as they're making the audio worse.

This releaser, even tho he got from AAC to FLAC, didn't actually make the audio worse, it just made it bigger.
It's still stupid, but not as stupid as the 2nd scenario is.
LOL, go get your prostate check and your dementia is kicking in. But you can always enjoy your buddies in the nursing home...

D'oh! Well thanks for the response anyway.
Noted (didn't know this group before today tbh).

Well, apart from episode 37 that's over 1GB, the other ones are around 400MB which is where EMBER usually releases at for most shows (and in possibly better quality than what EMBER provides), so better just go for Weeaboo-Shogun and not waste more time on it.
I tend to avoid Discord so I hadn't considered that. Thanks for the suggestion!
Right, which is why I said "if anyone grabbing it". 😉
Seems the Japanese audio channel is only 8 min 18 s long (whereas the English audio is 23 min 55 s, the same as the video).
You can go to their discord and ask them there directly.
sub & attach need to download, it is not possible
Subs and attachments would be great to have, if anyone grabbing it happens to see this.

(Right file this time. Ha.)
Whoops, wrong file. Haha. Ignore this.

> Weeaboo-Shogun seems to do rips (untouched), and is ahead of EMBER.
The choice is hard, indeed.

They do minis also.
And the only reason it got fetched at all is because it's so small, and that's because each video file is only like 4 minutes long.
