You'd think it would be easy to decode everything flawlessly for encoding, but that's unfortunately not the case. Even modern source decoders for video encoding like L-SMASH, BestVideo and ffms2 have their own bugs with various sources.

There's also a big difference between decoding for encoding and decoding for viewing. Decoding errors don't matter much when viewing, whereas they wreak havoc when encoding.

What kind of shit ware are you using that has trouble decoding HEVC in 2025?

It is, reading has an issue with some HEVC files. Had that issue with maybe 10-20% of HEVC and not every file, sometimes only a single scene.

I can put the new encoded on gofile or/and mega. I hope that helps (no huge seedbox).

This is an easy one: It's a crap show so why would I even want to rate the subs? I definitely wouldn't grab something you did. People who toot their own horn are arseholes.

The subtitles were pretty good overall, decent, but there were some obvious lack of QC as some sentences were wrong ("you" instead of "me", offering "her" instead of offering "me", little stuff like this).

Is that a deal breaker? I don't think so.
Are they subs of the year, far from it.

I'd give myself a good 8/10, maybe if I had spent more than a few hours on it, it would've been better.
