Yes you can, as long a the subs are flagged correctly (the full subs marked as default, signs marked as forced)

You can't configure the subs properly when the full and the signs track are both using the Eng name.
At one time the good groups were using zxx for the signs track and setting the player was a breeze.
If I have to go to the trouble to set up the sign tracks so I don't have to change it manually for every ep I'm not going to bother to seed it past 1:1. After 1:1 I dump it from the seedbox.
I don't care about the position as long as the tracks are named properly.

Sounds like a lot of extra work to not have to just configure your player correctly. A lot of dual audio releases try to be the best overall release, so obviously Japanese would be the first track, as that's the original audio.

When I was a releaser all my encodes were dual audio with the defaults set for the Eng tracks. Most were after the English tracks because all the JP releases were already out and other people were waiting for the Eng files.
Any dual release that I get I change the defaults for Eng if they weren't already set for it. At that point I remove the original from my seedbox to save space and the original uploader loses a good seed.

Maybe you will deny it, Japanese listeners are much more than English. I once asked some fansubs dual audio, they said that more than 80% of the downloads are in Japanese audio.

That's the app I use to change the header defaults. I don't need to remove the Japanese tracks, I'm not hard up for drive space.

using mkvtoolnix, it only takes a few seconds to remove japan audio and subs.

Change the preference setting in your player to English audio and it will play the English audio track (if present). The sub tracks bother me more so I just change the header settings on the files for the signs track as default.

I do agree that good dual releasers should set the defaults for the English audience.
