On one hand, we have people downloading my stuff for about two or three years now, that have been able to make an opinion by themselves of my work on several anime titles throughout the years.

"Audio's out of sync" is not a critique, it's a straight lie. I haven't seen the other comments but if they're like that one, I get why these comments were removed.

TLDR: Get new, properly timed non-English subtitles for the combined/single-video OVA (S00E01 and S00E02) compatible with our release or MTBB's or sam's linked below. Or just wait for our upcoming release which has better video quality and subtitles.

Howdy folks, it's been a while but we have concluded production of a new version with the latest and greatest of what SVT-AV1-Psy (quality-focused SVT Encoder fork) and our very own SWAN (Scene-Weighted Av1an Normalizer) has to offer along with some new subtitle languages and also the addition of MTBB's Honorifics tracks that were last left out. In other words the upcoming release will have better video quality and more subtitles.

This isn't just an announcement though because we come bearing gifts. Merry Chr- Happy early St. Patrick's Day! The OVA in this previous release (this page) contains non-English subtitles from Crunchyroll that were improperly combined without accounting for different delays between the first OVA segment and the second OVA segment. For the sake of completeness, at least for these subtitle languages, we decided to manually fix these. We didn't alter the styling or change any of the text because we are not experts in subtitle styling nor are we even remotely interested in dabbling in subtitle editing. We simply wanted to offer a better experience for people who prefer languages besides English. These timed subtitles should be an acceptable experience for people looking for Arabic, French, German, Italian, Portuguese (Brazil), Russian, Spanish, and Spanish (Latin American) subtitles for the OVA.

Just a clarification, the individual Language downloads are just Advanced Substation Alpha (ASS) subtitle files, not videos. To get all langauges in a single Matroska container, see the 2nd download link. For zipped download only: We have named them such that MKVToolNix GUI can easily identify and set the language automatically when multiplexing so that you don't have to. If you are using Plex, Jellyfin, or just plain MPV, you can rename the file - but keep the language and file extension part (ie. ".pt-BR.ass") - the same as your OVA video file (ours, MTBB's, or sam's all should be compatible) and put it next to the video file for the media server or client to find it and make it automatically available during playback.

Or if that sounds like a hassle then just wait for our upcoming release and instead grab our OVA which will have everything. And might as well grab the rest too, we improved the video quality and didn't use L-SMASH-Works as an Av1an chunking method, which is what caused some weird glitches in a lot of our earlier releases. We're working through replacing and improving those older affected releases so bear with us.

There are zero really good encodes from the BD's. The BD's themself look like crap and no amount of filtering can make them look really good.
