Basically not all media players are capable of playing AV1. You will have the same problem with anything in AV1 with the same media player you are now using that obviously isn't capable of playing Av1 so either switch completely or keep more than one media player. The audio issue is the common problem with media players that cant play Av1 properly. Av1 was created in 2015. Do not confuse it with Avi created in 1992 which every media player can play.
