Silly me for thinking that the BD meant these were from blu-ray disk, like this means does for other anime shows.  These are from AT-X but are censored.

It is listed under Non-English Anime at Nyaa.  So I don't know how it ended up here.  But it's old and strange.  It was compiled on a French-language version of mkmerge that's 3 years old, and on Nyaa it claims to be dual audio Japanese-Russian, but I only see japanese audio in the file header.  Website link suggests Raws site, but it's dead.

cutsie German words lol, I'm from Germany and I felt that was a blatant misuse of the language at times. I laughed when GG trolled their subs but to see my home language treated the way it was in Girls und Panzer by these groups was worse than a stomach ache...

Congratulations!  You've found the one version so far that doesn't have CR's cutsie Japanese to German catch phrases in the subtitles.  Unlike Commie and Jiggy.  I don't know why yet, but the cutsie German words are somehow worse than Squid puns in Ika Musume.

Just wanted to point out some things:
- The QuickSync decoder introduced in the Intel Sandy Bridge line does not decode 10-bit, or, to my knowledge, has any particular special hardware dedicated to decoding any part of 10-bit H.264
- It's expected that software developers will always recommend the fastest processor, even if it's far overkill
- I find it unlikely that support for a codec will "disappear" in the foreseeable future; even in the rare case that it gets removed from the LAV/ffmpeg libraries, you can always fall back to older applications. You may think that you only see 10-bit in anime fansubbing, however it does somewhat have uses in professional video authoring, for example. One thing that I think is probable is that we will never see a consumer grade hardware 10-bit decoder, so it's unlikely there'll be much more support for the format than there already is.

Have you tried viewing the format with VLC media player. The lastest version can handle 10 bit and it also uses it's own decoder. I can play 720p with no issues and 1080p with the odd lag on scenes with fast pans when playing the files from my USB drive. VLC is freeware.
