Why are you so mad over a comment on the feedback board (which isn't related to the site)?

I'm well aware other types of media, but last time I checked this is an anime site.

Genius here ^ doesn't realize that other video types than anime exists....If you stop patting yourself on the back long enough to read, I specifically mentioned anime with aegisub and didn't say anything about HDR anime.

Aegisub couldn't handle WCG files until the newest updates so if you wanted to visually time any subtitle file you needed to use subtitle edit.

I was impressed with the other two posters actually providing information so I shared my most used programs for all viedo files.

Your smart aleck comments aren't helping anyone in the feedback section, save those for the Salieri uploads...

Ah, yes, .ass. The perfect name for a format mainly used by anime.

Aegisub is better for creating/editing .ass subs primarily for anime

Subtitle edit is great for editing .srt subs, ie. remove SDH, fix common mistakes, OCR PGS subs and timing to 4k/HDR video files.

TinyMediaManager v3 (free) for file renaming/ nfo creation.

Mkvtoolnix for single file remuxing

MKV muxing batch GUI, for batch muxing

JMkvpropedit for batch editing of file properties (defaut tags, attachment names etc.)

MKVcleaver for de-muxing batch files

Mediainfo for viewing file properties

Subtitle edit uses some unique identifiers for positioning and line breaks, which sometimes break with ass subtitles made with aegisub (what almost all fansubbers use), so use aegisub: https://github.com/arch1t3cht/Aegisub/releases
