its not even video filter upscaling
its the recent ai tech for upscaling and it does a really good job
its basically the same thing as DLSS and most gamers are using some form of it now
264 is showing its age. 265 is fine for higher bitrate stuff, but is pretty shit at lower bitrates (see neoHEVC/neoDESU/Judas/Anime Time/etc. their video quality speaks for itself)
Thanks, but I'll take the BuzzHeavier and GoFile over the link you posted.
You don't need to comment on every AV1 videos you can't run tho. I guess you're the same Anon who comments on the feedback page everytime AT changes its style.
.264 and .265 are still modern codecs.
Or get a better video player and enjoy modern codecs.
They're just playing dumb. Not knowing of pixeldrain is like saying "Wow BuzzHeavier? Never heard of it, seems sketchy, don't trust it." yeah okay cool story.
|What is the issue?
There is no issue. They're just trolling. Imagine going to A DIFFERENT TAG (Sokudo) to complain about the existence of a Breeze v3 release. SavI0r is wise and correct.

If anyone wants to talk about the Breeze Sakomoto v3, WOULDN'T IT MAKE SENSE TO TALK ABOUT IT ON THAT PAGE? Guess not 😂
What is the issue? This batch release from Sokudo for the show Sakamoto Days with episodes 1-3 contains the 2nd version of the encode of which the description clarifies was made as an improvement on the video for higher efficiency. There is no V3. There is no such thing as Granny Smith Oranges. We see no issue here.
Just avoid AV1
Still didn't resolve the V2 V3 issue when the tags don't have one or the other.
S02E01 played fine for me with Potplayer.
This dude just cracked the case wide open, take notes people. Maybe next time you'll look less dumb for not realizing that different tags have different goals and there's software out there that automatically grabs the preferred episodes based on tag name.
Upgrade your media player to something that's not 4+ years old.
video choppy for anyone else
So then, much like their Nier encode, hopefully they will put up the 2-part full season encode soon!
LOL MAL is just another web site like all the others it copies information, so of course the information will be wrong.
It's 26 total but MAL decided to split it into 2 seasons for whatever reason.
To answer the question way up at the top of the thread: the best subs so far, are from [Salchow].
I looked it up on their reddit. A user said that pixeldra.in and pixeldrain.com are owned by pixeldrain. Again, proceed at your own risk.

I've downloaded a ton of Sokudo / Breeze in the past. No complaints, solid visual to file size ratio. I usually download full season packs at the end in case there are updates / errors to fix. One day we'll all be encoding in AV1. Thanks!
Why even bother posting a link when AT already fetched it and uploaded them to ddls? what's the point?
Ooh we know why! We'll take any excuse to talk about automation.

There is a method to this madness. A lot of users will use software like Sonarr and Radarr to feed their media centers with content without having to search for releases themselves. When there are several reputable groups that have a consistent "quality" associated with them and they tend to stick to their niche, viewers will assume that their future releases will maintain that niche. This is all for the better because both parties, the releaser and the viewer, have an expectation of what quality or qualities any given release will tend to have. That could be higher quality video and audio, fan-made subtitles, and so forth.

For us regular folks who don't dabble with this complicated software and just use the search bar, we can use syntax like negation to exclude groups that don't cater to our preferences or just simply search for the groups that we prefer. For our collective releases we have had several people show interest in the higher quality releases labeled as Sav1our or SavI0r-Pro but otherwise had no interest in our regular releases labeled as Sav1or or SavI0r. Some examples: these users could search (using Sphinx search expression enabled) with "Sav1our|SavI0r-Pro", "Breeze", or "mtbb -mini" appended and never see any "Sav1or|SavI0r", "Sokudo", or "MiniMTBB" releases that don't interest them. In a way, this is one of the rudimentary search engine optimizations (SEO) that we also adopted. It's a win-win for both; the viewer has to sift through fewer results they don't care for and the releasers maintain some semblance of organization and consistency.

Have a nice day,
- SavI0r

PS: Yes, we also see the irony in talking about consistency and simplifying search after recently changing our name.
I don't think people should click on this link. I guess the official site of pixeldrain is https://pixeldrain.com. Never heard of pixeldra.in. Proceed at your own risk.
pixeldrain is not some new random link you've never heard of before lol
Is that like the final solution?
This is the final version

I use SubtileEdit and Aegisub for modifications. I'm most surprised you haven't been slammed by the anti-Eng dub crowd yet.
Nothing wrong with under 500mb encodes if done right.
Most people watch stuff on a small screen like phone, laptop, I-pad etc where you won't notice any difference.
I even have a copy of GATE: Thus the JSDF Fought There! that stands up to larger file size copies on my big screen.

Just sharing for those who what some info in how to:
I like my animes to have "Signs & Songs" so most of the time i just open the full dialogue with "
SubtitleEdit-4.0.2" and remove the lines for all the other actors, then use "mkvtoolnix - GUI Version" to add them to the video file.
Exactly, I've even seen some of the stream rippers release bad episodes because they don't QC their releases. Partially because they want to be the first one out...
> it's 500mb....

Some people forget this.
|Do you think I read the V2 notes? I'm just hating for the sake of it

I'm touched by this honesty
It seems like the Sokudo encodes are smaller, dude must be insane for using a different tag for that lol
Why? I have far better copies of this series.
People help share this Anime.
I'm just laughing at the stupidity of the releaser for using different tags and also using versions even though one tag doesn't have the other versions. He seems like some noobie tard that doesn't have their shit together....
